I carefully read reviews before purchasing as this item is fairly expensive. My experience so far based on those other reviews: (1) its easy to fill the reservoir, it doesn't have to be done from height and doesn't spill; (2) "brown water, morning poo and hair on your chest" is possibly the most entertaining description of the settings I've seen and of course hair on your chest was the first one I had to try and its dead on, was far too strong for me and I've settled down with "morning poo" with 1 scoop per 4 cup setting of water on the pot (old coffee maker was 6 total scoops to make 3 finished cups with 1 cup evaporating somewhere during the brew cycle, a total waste of expensive coffee) ; (3) glass carafe easy to wash out; (4) I drink my coffee fairly quickly, so a 30 minute hot plate is more than long enough for me; (5) unless I missed it, nobody commented about the nice spot on the top to set your coffee cup to warm up during the brew cycle? I really like that as I'm not having to run hot water in the sink to prewarm the cup.Great little machine. Love the look, the simplicity (on/off button and a push button dial for strength setting) and wow, it makes a really, really good pot of coffee.

I love it so much and even get good compliments from people. It matches the aesthetic of my house and its looks great. The coffee machine itself is superb and makes good coffee. The quality looks great and is super cute. I cleaned it after using multiple times since it got delivered and didn’t see any issue. The brew time is usually the same as other and gives a good smell while brewing.

What other reviewers have said about the pot not keeping the second cup of coffee ‘hot’ is right on the money. Although I drink both cups one after the other to get my caffeine fix if I delay too long between cups the coffee is cooler than I’d prefer. But I have to say the pot makes an excellent cup of coffee which is flavorful and rich and brings out the specific rich notes in the coffee being perked. The other issue I have is the lid over the water well. In order to completely empty the pot into the well you have to hold the pot above the top of the lid and pour from height. On most days this isn’t a problem but don’t get distracted and look away or you’ll find water all over the counter ‘and pot cause you missed the well. All other traits of the coffee maker are acceptable-ease of use; it’s not noisy; and shuts it self off if you walk away and don’t turn it off (the real reason I purchased this machine); great look too. Overall I’d buy this again even with these two known deficiencies (in my opinion).

Love the green color and size!Made the coffee on 2 drip and man that was strong enough for me, I didn’t realize how “not strong” my keurig was. It made 2 cups of coffee, I use a bigger glass.Also, I Love how easy it is to clean, no small spaces that can build up gunk!

Great for an outstanding couple of cups in the a.m. For a retired couple it works great; no left over or waste of coffee and water!

This coffee maker only keeps the coffee warm for 30 minutes. That's really not long enough. And no matter how I pour the coffee from the carafe to the cup, it drips coffee all over the counter. It's not any better that the budget priced Mr Coffee , in fact it's not as good. I guess the only special feature is the retro colors, and I chose basic black !

Nice & easy to use machine that makes agood caffe.I like that it has 3 settings; however it takes a little more time to brew at medium or high.I also like its retro look. Mine is black.
