These are great fun shoes, similar in design and concept to Crocs, but with a bright, colourful fishy theme.They are made from a rubbery material very similar to Crocs with the addition of a glossy outer bearing an eye-catching printed and textured design. The design continues through the shoe with textured 'scales' adding grip to the inner footbed and moulded fins, tail and open mouth to the outer. To the sole, is is the fish's under-eye Like Crocs, there is a sling-back over the heel which can be pushed forwards over the top of the shoe if not desired. Again, this fits perfectly and becomes incorporated into the imaginative design.I have size 7.5-8 feet and these shoes are true to size, being just a little large in the length for me, as I would expect. However, the design fits and works around different sized feet so sizing is not critical and my toes simply don't reach quite as far into the fish mouth as they could. The sole gives good grip on grass, tile, concrete, carpet, lino and other indoor and outdoor surfaces, including while wet too. They are lightweight to wear, flexible and have flexible soles.I absolutely love the design, the creativity and its implementation into a pair of well made, carefully finished, practical and functional 'fish-flop' shoes and feel the (British) company behind these is onto a winner.It's currently January in the UK and I am wearing them mostly indoors as slippers but also in the garden. However, I plan to wear them for caravanning trips and holiday where they will be great on wet or dry grass, in campsite shower and perfect on the beach for both paddling and swimming - and their fishy design should feel quite at home there.Love them and highly recommend them. They will not disappoint.

These may look like they are just novelty footwear – but let me tell you, in terms of their comfort and quality they are anything but!I have 16 pairs of flip flops, 5 pairs of sliders and 4 pairs of Crocs so as you might guess I am not a fan of wearing socks between the months April through October (which is strange as am wearing socks in the photos with these – taken in February though!) and was therefore very pleased to receive these fish clogs from Coddies to trial.As mentioned the above the clogs are very well made and will last for a very long time – even with regular wear. With their raised arch and open toe design they are also very comfortable to wear. There is also a strap which can be rotated over so that it can support against the back of your heel to help them stay on when being worn if required (please see photos). The sole of the clog has excellent grip and again this looks and feels like it will last (please see photos).I am a size 10 and I have very wide feet (G) but from reading the other reviews before ordering I went with size 10 and have found these are very much true to size. In the photos I am wearing these with thick sports socks and they are just on the tighter size, with my wide feet, but without socks they are a perfect fit for me.I definitely recommend these, and not just as a present for a fish enthusiast but, for any one who like me loves wearing open footwear in the warmer months of the year and more so for someone who likes to make a statement with their clothing!

These are novelty products. They are plastic sandals that can be compared to other similar shoes, but the fish-themed design makes them unique.If you want a pair of plastic sandals or clogs for daily wear, I don't think these shoes are going to compete with them in practical terms.But you don't wear fish on your feet for practical reasons; these are fun and make a great statement.To be fair, in terms of comfort, they are pretty darn good, and the manufacturer has tried to make these functional as well as humorous. I like the fish eye on the sole that corresponds to the eye on the top of the shoe; these are, then, not flatfish!Sizing is reliable. Unknowns are how these will stand wearing and how the colours will wear, but that's beyond the scope of a new product review.In conclusion, these are great and deserve five stars for being what they are.

I made a bit of a cod of myself buying these. As soon as I saw them I fell for them hook, line & sinker and knew I'd have a whale of a time pairing them with my own peculiar taste in holiday shirts.I had such a yearning in my sole that I grabbed the only size left available to me. I'm a size 9 and could only land a 10 but I've bought shoes in the past where the stated size is a bit of a red herring. Plus, the listing says "go big" so I was hoping they'd be small fry. Unfortunately, if anything, they are probably bigger than a 10 should be. Even with the bit that goes round your 'eel they won't stay on. My brother-in-law is a fisherman but he refuses to even plaice them on his feet no matter how much I carp on at him.Unfortunately for me these are the ones that got away.

These fish flops are true to size, very comfortable, look great and very practical with the strap on the back! they definitely catch attention and always a good laugh!

If you're looking for a fun present, unusual gift or even some fancy dress then these fish clogs are for you! You don't need to be into fishing to enjoy these, and they are surprisingly comfortable with good insole padding and they are washable, so easy to clean. I really was surprised at the comfort level, and they don't rub or irritate te skin which is great, and the fit is true to size. The design is super, they are bright and colourful and look good! Great flip fops and they are a fun talking point. Wear on the beach, or walking around town!
