A great Optimus Prime for my Decepticon-heavy Masterpiece collection
MP-44S is great in entirety, he's got the Ion Blaster, the Matrix of Leadership, the Energon Axe to pose and play with.It's noticeably cheaper than the full Optimus Prime v3, but that means there's no trailer nor the battle damage options that would work perfectly with Megatron.Transformation from alt mode to robot mode took me a good long time the first time, using a translator tool to make some sense of the Japanese instructions and about 70 steps.My best summary for the Masterpieces is that they look and behave pretty much exactly as the ancient G1 toys did in my imagination back in the eighties. I still need one of these to complete my limited collection. And maybe the trailer as well at some point.

Too Many Flaws
For the price, it’s not worth it. I have a KO MP44 and it’s actually better if you just want a display piece. The transformation is difficult and not fun. You won’t be doing it repeatedly. Numerous sprue marks in the plastic, nicks, scratches and paint flaws. Small gouges on the windows in robot mode. I regret buying it honestly. I have other MP Primes and this is easily the worst.
