Measure your OEM mantle before ordering. I cannot fault these mantles because I did not notice the dimensions stated in the add so, I will say that at $ 8.99 for 22 mantles, these would be a great purchase for a single mantle lantern which usually requires a larger mantle like this. If you have a two mantle Coleman lantern, they usually take two No 21 size mantles which are about one half the size of these.Will they work in a two-mantle lantern? Yes. Well, sort of. The problem is you have to carefully insert them as these are long and will touch the frame of the lantern. After pre-burning the mantels, the size shrinks a little and no longer touches the frame. Then, once the lantern is lit the mantels will shrink to its final size but will still be approximately twice as long as a #21. As for their brightness, they do not put out as much light as a standard mantle and, have obvious hot spots. I believe this is because a two-mantle lantern puts out less fuel/air mixture per mantle than a single mantle lantern and thus, the "envelope" on these is too large for the fuel mixture delivered in a two-mantle system.I also found that these were very slow to "pre-burn" and I had to relight the mantles several times to get a consistent white color like they should be before use but, that is not a big problem.So, basically yes, these can be used in a two-mantle lantern that requires a #21 mantle but, it will not function as well as the OEM, or similar sized mantles.It's really a shame the company does not also make these in the same size as a #21 since the price is excellent and, and the material used seems to be very good. From what I surmised in my test, these would work perfectly if they were the appropriate size for my two-mantle lantern. However, all is not lost as I am positive these will work perfectly in my brothers' single mantle lantern when we meet in the northern woods of Minnesota this summer.
