Wow - what an upgrade
I bought this to replace a 10 year old camera. I think the other camera was either 720p or perhaps 1080p. It worked - but had a limited field of view and night vision on it was just ok. People often could evade being detected if they walked up a certain part of my yard. The camera could not see it.The Duo 3 far exceeded my expectations. It easily sees 300% more of my yard than the old camera. Plus, the resolution is way better. No more delivery people will be able to sneak past this field of view with this camera.I am also using this with software called Frigate, which integrates with Home Assistant. Frigate was easy to set up. (My old camera worked with it as well).Other features the new camera has compared to my old one: microphone, speaker, better night vision, and a spotlight. I may not use the audio capabilities, but nice to have if I change my mind. The spotlight is reasonably bright. I like having this so if it detects motion at night, it will turn on. Useful for people walking up to the door or perhaps to spook a prowler. The app does not require an account. I downloaded it, installed it, and am able to watch my camera. I think I can set up an account and probably some type of paid plan, but have yet to be prompted by it. Very nice! I do not want to deal with another account. (Since I use Frigate as my nvr, I also do not want any paid services).I bought this on sale. I think it might have been cheaper than the camera I replaced from 10 years ago. Still amazed at how good it is.

Awesome 180 degree camera!
Superb camera! I love my new reolink system and this is a fine addition.I have coverage of my entire garden from the road to the barn with the 180 degree field of view. The night time recording is sharp and clear. The spot lights are suprisingly bright and should be just the deterrent I am looking for.I live out in the middle of nowhere, Northern Vermont. Sad to say, I have needed these cameras for awhile now. Someone stole about a dozen laying hens about a year ago and then they stole my honor system egg cooler.I cannot overstate the enormous impact installing this 24/7 security camera system has had on my peace of mind.Just gotta get some little signs posted making sure all the would be perps know they are there.

Great for home assistant
Reolink has great integration with home assistant, and it's been getting better. They are now my camera of choice for my home system and recommendations. Setup took 10 minutes with a reolink NVR. The field of view is great for wide areas.

Excellent camera, not a 1:1 replacement for the Duo 2
This is a great, high definition camera sporting a 180 degree field of view with minimal distortion. It uses the same mounting bracket as the Duo 2 and can be dropped into an existing setup easily, **BUT** vertically, the FOV is not as tall as the Duo 2. For my application, I am still able to see everything I need to, but this is an important difference to note. It's maybe 5 fewer degrees vertically. Horizontally, you can still see an impressive 180 degrees with only minor distortion in the center of the picture from stitching the two camera feeds together. This camera easily connects to AgentDVR, and AgentDVR is even able to use data from the camera's AI motion and object detection to tag videos (with keywords including "detected", "vehicle", "people", "animal") or trigger recordings. FTP recording also works very well, although I had trouble with Auto/PASV transport and had to set it to Port to get it to work properly. This camera performs extremely well during the day. It's able to read the license plate of a moving vehicle from about 50 feet away with almost perfect clarity. At ~25mph the vehicle almost looks like it's not moving. At night, performance is still impressive, you can read the license plate of a stationary vehicle but a moving vehicle will only be a blur. You can still make out a good amount of detail if you adjust the image settings, but there's only so much you can do for night surveillance.I have had some problems getting the camera to switch between day mode and night color mode. The street outside my house has LED street lights, which I guess is bright enough to confuse the light sensor. Weirdly, though, the camera has no problem switching from day to black-and-white (infrared) night mode... I've tried editing the manual picture settings for color night mode, and it's definitely not kicking in; only changing the picture settings for day mode affects it. It's a bummer because the settings that maximize clarity in my situation are a LOT different for day and night mode. The reason this review is for four stars instead of five is a mix of the reduced vertical field of view and the weirdness switching to night mode. I wish it was made clearer that the field of view is reduced (even just a screenshot showing what the field of view actually is, not necessarily directly comparing the two), and not being able to adjust the color night mode is annoying. Despite these negatives, it is still a fantastic camera with amazing picture quality, and I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.

Change to my previous negative review after working with their support.
Previous review below was negative however, after working with Reolink support on these problems, their engineering team provided me with a firmware update that solved all my problems. Hopefully they push this out to prevent these problems across all devices. I'm glad that they were able to get this resolved. Customer service and support behind these cameras is impressive. This camera is awful. Ordered a replacement thinking I got a bad one. Camera will disconnect from the app and desktop client after ~7 hours and required a physical reboot to fix. Tried everything to get around this, port forwarded to the camera thinking this would work however when the camera stops talking to the app, it can't be accessed through the port forward either. Cable tests fine and is a pretty short cable run. I can however still connect while on the same LAN via its LAN IP but this is useless since the whole point is to view it while I'm not there. To make it worse, it still sends motion notifications which mean nothing since you can't get to live view or the recordings until you physically reboot it. Second camera, same problem. Cannot recommend.
