It flows and the truck goes
I bought this for my mountaineer and it was not only the best price it was so easy to install. The quality and fit are perfect. I always wait a few months before I review auto parts to ensure the sturdiness and the function ability a d u must say the problem was solved when the MAF sensor was replaced and she cranks right up without any hesitation and the check engine light went is off. So I recommend this for your Merkury mountaineer it's worth it.

As Good As OEM!
Purchased a new MAF sensor at local auto parts store. When the issue with the car did not clear up, I spent a lot of time finding out the new sensor from the local store was also defective. I purchased this MAF sensor and all of the codes cleared and the car is running normally again. To let you know, I am writing this review 2 years after replacing the MAF sensor. It is still operating correctly. Thank you!

Not the right part...
This came up for my 2004 Town Car. But at least my Town Car uses something completely different. I am rating it one star because it is completely useless for my purpose, though it might work perfectly in another. YMMV
