Sailmaker Multipurpose Utility Cart (Blue)

I bought this cart to replace my Wonder Wheeler -Ultra wide wheels. While I had been happy with that product; after a few years the front wheels just disintegrated and there are no replacement parts. I was concerned because this cart was cheaper but appeared to have better front wheels. I am happy to report that this product is superior in many ways. The product description doesn't add that the little storage bag attached is an insulated cooler. While other similar carts barely have enough space to fit beach chairs; this cart as a longer shelf and the shelf has little knobs to stop your chairs from falling off if you hit a bump. The cart also folds with more ease than comparable carts. This cart has taken a good idea and improved upon it.

We took this cart to Panama City Beach, FL and had trouble with it on the soft sand. My husband mostly dragged it because the wheels would not turn. I’m sure this cart would be perfect for more hard-packed sand beaches. That being said we really like the cart. It holds all of our beach gear (2 chairs, beach bags, tent and umbrella) and still has room for more. The cooler that comes with it is a nice and convenient bonus since it has its own designated place to hang.

3 stars only because it did not roll on the beach with the small wheels on the front of the cart. It's a great cart for hauling all your beach necessities but you have to pull it behind you with the front wheels in the air because they will not roll on the sand. With it being loaded down, it was extremely difficult to manage because of having to pull it. I was so disappointed!! It rolls just fine when pushing on flat surfaces.

Bought this in Apr '18 for our annual trip to Hilton Head to replace an older cart that we had been using. This definitely lived up to my expectations. It seems quite sturdy and well made and we used it to carry so much stuff. We were able to load 4 Tommy Bahama style beach chairs on the front bar. It has two little knobs so the chairs won't slip off. In the netting area, we had a small cooler, a bag of sand toys, volleyball, football, paddles, etc., a beach bag with 4 towels, sunscreen, our books, and a boogie board. In the attached zippered insulated bag we had snacks and whatever else we needed to throw in (its very roomy). On the front of the insulated bag there are two zipper pouches where we put our large Tervis cups. And finally the umbrella holder is on the side. It pushed easily on the concrete and packed sand. It was definitely harder on soft sand, but it helped to turn it around and have one person pulling and another pushing. Another review mentioned that their wheels wouldn't turn in the soft sand, but we did not have that problem. I didn't see this as a flaw of the cart as I have yet to see a cart or wagon that easily goes in soft sand.If there was one con, I would say that I worry that the wheels are plastic and they may not hold up over time. Since we only use it once a year for a week it should be fine for casual use.

This is amazing for the beach. Easy to push on pavement, holds everything you need, glides well through the sand for you to pull. Easy to fold up, folds to the size of a stroller, sand is easy to shake off before putting it in the car.

Easy assembly. I even comes with an attached cooler that keeps beverages cool at the beach!
