Great book
I love the pictures and I love the imagination used to write a descriotion of each dragon. It is a good book to color as well. The paper is great too.

This is the same as "The Coloring Book"
I purchased the Draganology "The Coloring Book" with the red cover and this Colouring Companion. Turns out they are the same book. The Colouring Companion is the UK release. Otherwise, these are both very nice books.

Beautiful
Cutest little descriptions to go with the dragons! Almost makes them seem real 😉

Just ok.
It’s a nice companion for the book. My daughter loves dragons so I know she’ll like this, but it’s rather plain. The art isn’t anything to write home about.

Very cool book if you enjoy dragon art and learning about ...
Very cool book if you enjoy dragon art and learning about these mythical beasts. Images are also on heavy paper, making them excellent for colouring on.

Why Did I Wait So Long?
I get that the adult colouring craze seems to be in decline, this could be because we all have too many books to colour in one lifetime but there are still some die hards out there and I'm one of them.I have no idea why I waited so long to buy this book, particularly as I'm passionate about dragons, it's one I've kept going back to time after time but never hit the "buy" button. It is simply fabulous, from the artwork to the paper which totally lends itself to any pencil blending technique you want to throw at it, pencils are my preferred medium and as with any other colouring book, if you were using anything other than pencil, some kind of backing sheet would probably be needed to protect the picture on the next page. Pictures are on one side only with a brief description giving the name and characteristics of each dragon on the opposing page. Unlike other Reviewers I am not bothered that it's not perforated as I would never sabotage any of my books anyway. If you are still colouring and whether you're into dragons or not then I strongly recommend adding this little treasure to your stock pile. I'm attaching my interpretation of the European Dragon which is the first entry in the book.

Good quality book
Very impressed with this book, especially for what it cost (paid around £6). Bought it for water colour painting and although I used cardboard to avoid bleed-through, there was none because the pages are quite thick. Lots of different dragons, all with a decent write up. Well worth it if you're into dragon's!

so pencils are best for this book
The drawings are really detailed but the paper is a bit too thin for paints or pens, so pencils are best for this book. Really lovely designed dragons and the red on the cover is metallic, which makes the book look really fancy on the outside too.Just a really nice colouring book, lots of detail and a nice gift for dragon lovers!
