Great small projector for the price paid
This is a great well made but of kit. Bought during the pre Christmas sales so a good price. The picture is good and the focus is easy to adjust. The projector is but no means HD so long as you accept that it's all good. The customer service is excellent from Anker. They helped update the Google store so more apps can be used. This really helps open up the projector to access more of its potential. The remote app is really good and easy to set up.Brightness is a drawback but again if you accept that and use it in the right indoor/outdoor conditions it's spot on. If you want to extend it's battery use a good quality powerbank. HDMI input works with ease and the projector options make it easy to select. 2 recommendations: 1 update to the latest firmware and contact Anker to add the Google playstore. 2 increase the brightness to Max from the factory settings. This improves the picture at the cost of battery running times, so you will need mains or good powerbank for longer movies etc. In summary, despite the design being older than it's younger siblings it is the smallest to carry. Build quality is fantastic, interphase is good and with playstore a good range of apps are available. Use in the right lighting, accept it not HD and it's a winner.

A little marvel for campervan home cinema
I had hunted for ages trying to find a projector for my campervan that would work on a power supply like 12 volt cigarette lighter or 5 volt usb charger, and this one finally fits the bill.Charging is easy and you can run movies on it whilst it is charging too.My 5 volt 2 amp usb charger ports work fine with this device.Whilst the projector is charging up using the mini usb port and lead provided, you can still run an hdmi lead to it from a portable dvd player, or stream movies to it via your iphone for services like Youtube. The picture size will depend on how far away you set the projector from your screen, but the options are very good on how you stand or mount it. There is a tripod threaded screw port to connect this up to a tripod if you want, or you could mount it to the ceiling and set the picture to flip or reverse etc, depending on your setup. You really do need a dark setting to get a bright picture though. Trying this in daylight or with curtains drawn in the daytime, will definitely be affected by ambient light coming into the van, so don't expect the 100 ANSI lumen LED buld to give you a brilliant picture in anything less than darkness. The resolution is lowish at 854x480, but for a campervan setup where it is unlikely you will have the distance to get a picture above 50 inches, this is not a problem, because at that size it looks perfectly clear and bright. If you are planning to go bigger, then expect a more pixellated effect and lower brightness. This thing is not a 240 volt 3000 ANSI lumen home projectore. The projector is very compact in size. It really is like a can of soda pop, and the 360 degree built in 5 watt speaker is powerful enough to be heard clearly in a smallish setting. There isnt much dynamic range of course, or heavy bass response, but it certainly isn't a feeble tinny transistor radio sound.i have tested this indoors using my wi-fi connection, and got Amazon Prime video working on it fine, as well as You tube videos. I also connected a portable dvd unit to it via HMDI and it worked fine.Picture was tested from a distance of about a metre, giving about a 30 ins picture, to 3 metres giving about 100 ins picture, and in the dark room it looked fine at either size.Amazing bit of kit, that can also double as a Bluetooth speaker as well.I would recommend downloading the Nebula application to your iPhone to control the projector, as the remote can be a bit fiddly when trying to type in mouse mode for searching to movies etc. The phone app makes this a lot easier to achieve.

Great little projector, perfect for camping nights
I really like my Nebula capsule. Have been using it for film nights when camping, and it is just perfect for that use and makes for a really fun evening. It’s ridiculously portable - about the size of the coke can. But what’s so great is that it’s all you need - the built in speaker is great, the battery life really excellent so no need to plug it in, and with the built in apps you stream or download what you want to watch so nothing to plug into it either. Just find a spot to put it and you’re done! The picture quality is surprisingly good. Yes the resolution is low, and I thought that would bother me, but it doesn’t - you forget that pretty quickly and just get into what you’re watching. The picture is bright enough so long as you are in a darkish place, and you can always shrink the screen to make it brighter. So all round great. And finally I’ve had some excellent support from Anker - I lost my remote (you can still use your phone as a remote via the excellent app, but when outside it meant hot spotting from my phone which was boring). Emailed Anker support to see if I could get a replacement, and they shipped me a new one from the States and charged me nothing at all. Excellent service!I’ve bought a telescopic tripod which screws into the bottom and makes it easier to get the perfect position for it.It’s perfect for cinema nights when campin

Very poor Projector
Terrible. Works okay from 2 feet, but beyond that, it’s grainy and dark. Bought it two months ago and still stuck in a customer service loop with Nebula. Apps don’t work—Netflix is included but unusable. They’ve sent multiple updates and patches, but nothing helps. VLC has the same issue. The latest update is so bad, I have to log in to every app again.
