Great customization
Connected without any problems to my Nintendo switch and pc. I also loved the many different RGB light modes you can switch to, it came with two faceplates to swap out the design of the controller too. Took a minute to get used to it as I’ve only played with Nintendo joy cons but once you get the hang of it, it works like a charm and feels so much more comfortable.

Works well, though had a broken piece inside
I have mixed feelings about this controller- It functions and is comfortable enough to hold, but not so much that I would choose it over other controllers for that reason alone. It does look pretty, though the lighting was a little difficult to work with because the buttons to change it don't always respond quickly and the button to turn it off needs to be held a lot longer than I thought at first. The light that holds steady only seems to work in green, I'm not sure if there is a problem with mine or if it is the same for everyone? The turbo button for this controller works great and other than changing the light settings, the buttons seem to react quickly as expected and overall it functions well. I personally am not a huge fan of the texture of it, but I am autistic and sometimes unexpectedly these things happen where they just feel "wrong". My boyfriend has no problem with the texture so he would probably be the one to use it if we were playing a co-op game, and if nothing else it's a good extra controller to keep around for guests. Everyone else seems to think it's great so it could just be me!There was a little piece of clear plastic, inside the bottom of the right-side handle. It looked like it broke off of something but I couldn't figure out where exactly it came from. It rattled around and was a little annoying, I ended up loosening a couple screws on the controller just enough to be able to shake the little piece out and all is well now. Hopefully the broken piece wasn't from the controller being dropped or knocked around during manufacturing or shipping, but it seems undamaged other than that piece.

Disappointing Experience with the DYONDER Switch Controller
As a consumer, I had high hopes for the DYONDER Switch Controller, especially considering its promising features and compatibility with various platforms. However, after putting it through its paces, I'm left thoroughly underwhelmed.First and foremost, let's talk about the build quality. While it's not the worst I've encountered, it certainly feels flimsier than other controllers in its price range. The buttons have a plasticky feel, lacking the satisfying tactile response I expect from a premium controller. Additionally, the joystick movements feel somewhat loose and imprecise, which significantly detracts from the overall gaming experience.Moving on to functionality, the controller falls short in several key areas. Despite boasting motion control capabilities, I found them to be erratic and unreliable, often causing more frustration than immersion during gameplay. The vibration feature feels weak and lacks the nuance of vibration feedback found in higher-end controllers. As for the touted RGB lighting, it's more of a gimmick than a meaningful addition, adding little value to the gaming experience. One of the most glaring issues I encountered was with connectivity. While it does offer wireless functionality, the connection stability leaves much to be desired. I experienced frequent drops in connection, resulting in frustrating interruptions during gameplay. This inconsistency is simply unacceptable, especially for competitive gaming scenarios. On the software side, the controller's programmable features are a welcome addition, but they feel cumbersome to set up and manage. The included software lacks user-friendliness and often feels like an afterthought, making customization more of a chore than a convenience. In conclusion, while the DYONDER Switch Controller may offer a budget-friendly alternative to more established brands, its shortcomings ultimately outweigh its positives. From lackluster build quality to unreliable connectivity and subpar functionality, this controller fails to deliver a satisfactory gaming experience. Save yourself the frustration and invest in a more reputable option.

Very cool controller – Works with PC too, but you need to read the manual!
This is a really cool controller, and it has a lot of functionality, but you will never figure it out without reading the manual. I know it’s advertised as a Switch controller, but it works on PC just fine. However, to connect it to PC via Bluetooth you must hold the Home+B button for 3 seconds. I would never figure that out without the manual. It has several operational peculiarities, but maybe these are standard for wireless controllers (this is my first one, I usually use wired). For example, it doesn’t have an on/off button. It automatically turns on when it connects to Bluetooth, and automatically turns off when the Bluetooth signal is disconnected. However, if you press the Home button for 3 seconds (with no Bluetooth connected) then it wakes the controller back up, and there is no way to turn it back off unless you reconnect it to Bluetooth, then disconnect the Bluetooth. It only turns off when it senses that Bluetooth has disconnected.I haven’t tested most of the other connectivity functions, because I’m primarily using it on PC via Bluetooth. It connects just fine (it shows up as an Xbox controller), and automatically works with every game I tested it with, with no noticeable delay. The light patterns are easy to change with a button on the bottom, and you can also configure it for either X-input or Direct Input. All in all, a very nice controller once you get used to it. 5 stars!

surprised!
had no connectivity issues, no delays with inputs or anything. the lighting is really nice and was surprised to find that it had a changeable face plate with a different pattern. hope they sell more face plates for their controller.

My son likes it for his Switch
Rereading the instructions before writing this review, I realize that we’re underutilizing this controller on our son’s Switch. Maybe when the appeal of this controller’s lights wears off on him, I’ll give the programmable features and macro functions a try on my PC. For now, though, the boy is very excited with his new gaming addition, so right there it’s an easy 4 stars. The two covers are magnetic and easy to change out, and the color patterns and intensities are every bit as interesting as his games. It seems the controller is very responsive, with no perceived lag, even with motion sensing games. Pairing to the Switch was standard and connectivity is good. I can’t speak to charging time yet, but it’s seen a few days use without slowing down.I think for the price compared to all this controller can do, it’s a good bargain and certainly feels durable enough to pay for itself in time.
