It isn't very often that I am 100% satisifed with anything, but this is one of those times. It is exactly what it says it is, does exactly what it says it will do. I don't see any way you can mess up with this product. I have two different paleo bread recipes that I like to make, have been making them for years, but I could never slicer them evenly "freehand." Made one again the other day, started to struggle with slicing it, thought "there must be a better way." Did a google search, ended up with this. Ordered it for overnight delivery. Was so pleased with results that I baked the other recipe, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

My husband used it this morning to slice up my homemade bread for French toast. He used our electric knife and said it was challenging to get a thick-enough slice. Mayyyyybe, a learning curve. I asked if using an analog bread knife would work better; he didn't think it would. I tell ya one thing tho, it made more-uniform slices than we ever did on our own lol! Would be cool if someone could invent one for people who like thicker slices. Or make one that's adjustable for different thicknesses. But for the sale price, it works great and seems to be better than nothing.

The bread slicer works really well. It is easy to setup and very easy to use. It holds the bread firmly, which keeps the bread from slipping when slicing. The bread slicer dismantles easily. However, It did not come with a storage bag to store the parts. I used a small delicate laundry bag to keep all the parts together. The slicer came with a crumb catcher, which is very helpful for cleanup. The resulting slices of bread are smooth and even. I am very pleased with the purchase.

This makes cutting my sourdough bread so much easier! No more abnormal bread slices now I can control the sizes of each slice I cut my only complaint is the grey plate does warp a little if you put it in the dishwasher (this may be my fault as I did not check to see if its dishwasher safe) but overall I still love this cutting board

Great Idea, But Falls Short in ExecutionI really wanted to love this upgraded bread slicer, especially with all the features like adjustable width, foldable design, and crumb tray. Unfortunately, while the concept is great, the actual performance didn’t meet my expectations.The material feels a bit flimsy, especially when slicing denser homemade bread or crusty loaves. It tends to wobble slightly, which makes it hard to get even slices—something this guide is supposed to help with. The adjustable width is a nice feature in theory, but it doesn’t always stay in place securely, leading to inconsistent slice sizes.The crumb tray is a thoughtful touch, but it’s shallow and doesn’t catch as much as I’d hoped, so cleanup is still a bit of a mess. It does fold up compactly, which is great for storage, but overall it’s just not as sturdy or reliable as I expected for regular use.If you occasionally slice soft, uniform loaves it might work okay, but for serious home bakers or crusty artisan breads, this slicer might not hold up to the task. A decent idea, but definitely room for improvement.

We were having difficulty making straight cuts of homemade bread. This device changed that in a simple way. The slots guide the bread knife so one makes nice straight slices. It’s very handy as it comes apart, lies flat in its box for storage. The base catches the crumbs and stays put thanks to the rubber “feet”. It’s simple, inexpensive and, even though is plastic,so far it seems to hold up quite well.

I wanted to give this a 4.5.The product works great. I have a loaf of bread sitting in the refrigerator right now.Things I liked.The bread box is easy and convenient. I can fit around two loafs in there.Plastic is easy to clean.All the parts fit together easily.Love the ability to place the guides at custom widths.The net bag for the bits and pieces is nice, I can toss it in a drawer and not worry about having to hun things down later.The padded feet really grip on our ceramic tile counters so that helps keep it all steady.Room for improvement.For the 2 lb loaf the bread rises just slightly above the plastic slots. So you really need to work on lining up your knife.The plastic base does get scratches from the knife. I bought a pretty descent 14 inch bread knife and it leaves scratches. You will get this on bamboo ones too. If it really bugs you I would recommend sanding them out every couple of months. Keep it clean and dry and you shouldn't really have any issues.Unless you buy a restaurant grade powered slicer, this will work just fine for 99% of us.Is it perfect, no.Does it do the job with a little care, and skill, yes.Cost to benefit ratio is high, so I will recommend this product.

This bread box is awesome to have. I looked at many before purchasing this one. It make slicing so easy and neat. The container seals perfectly to keep your bread nice and fresh. I bake my own sourdough bread and also have a bread machine.
