Heinz Simply Tomato Ketchup with No Artificial Sweeteners, 19 oz Bottle

I love the simply Heinz. It has frequently been sold out of the stores, so I decided to purchase online. This was a good value compared to what they offer in the stores. I like how this product does not have high-fructose corn syrup and it is good for someone with a sulfite/sulfate allergy, like myself. There is no leakage and it has a good seal. The taste is by far the best, and this type has a nice balance of tomato, sweet, and saltiness. Some other types can be too sweet or too salty, and this one has the best balance. Overall, great product and highly recommend.

If you haven’t tried this “simply” version I suggest you do. Have always been a Heinz ketchup fan, all my life my family has used it. I always get disappointed if we are eating out or at a friend’s and they serve a different brand. I wasn’t going to try this but it was all they served throughout Disney Orlando last month. I liked it so much I bought some for our home and have a new favorite!

come on who doesn’t love Heinz ketchup it is what it is and has been for a long time. Just good catchup.

On the front of the bottle it says no artificial sweeteners, but this ketchup does have cane sugar in it. It’s recommended that ketchup be used in moderation due to its high sugar content. At least this version doesn’t have high fructose corn syrup in it.It also has natural flavors in it. While this sounds healthy it may be misleading. Even though they come from natural sources, they often contain artificial and synthetic chemicals added during the manufacturing process. (Good RX health)I read an article online that ranked different ketchup from worst to best and Heinz didn’t do so well, although they didn’t have this exact brand on the list.Based on the website, eat this, not that!, True Made Foods no sugar veggie ketchup was the winner. It had the healthiest ingredients and was low in sugar. I probably should have done the research before I got this Heinz ketchup but i bought it out of habit since I’ve used it in the past. Lesson learned, maybe going forward I’ll switch things up and give the true made ketchup a try. Fortunately I only use ketch up once in a while and in limited quantities so I’m not that concerned about it.

If you use ketchup on way more than French fries then you probably already know this is the best ketchup out there for all your recipes. I make a salad dressing with Best Foods mayonnaise, Heinz Chili Sauce and this Ketchup. My husband thinks it is the best salad dressing ever and also asks for it when he gets French fries and brings them home. In the fast food world it is called fry sauce I guess!~The Rebecca Review
