Have had this case for 10 months. Excellent case. Have dropped my phone and damaged the case on the corner, but the phone is still in good shape. Buttons are excellent quality.

Bad ass look and feel. One of the best cases I’ve ever bought.

For starters I’ve been using Pitaka cases for over a year now on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I originally purchased the MagEZ Case 2 in a stunning blue carbon color which was amazingly thin, grippy, and even held up to several accidental drops onto concrete floors in my work place. I then upgraded to the MagEZ Pro 3 case which is the predecessor to the case I’m currently reviewing. That case was simply put, the best case I’ve used on any phone. It put my old OtterBox- which was impractically bulky- and OEM Apple Silicone/Leather- which lacked any presence of durability- cases to shame. It wasn’t much thicker than the MagEZ 2 yet offered so much more protection and durability. I would regularly alternate between the two using the thinner case for formal or casual events and changing over to the Pro case for my work days.With that history lesson out of the way I’ll comment on the MagEZ Pro 4.This case has many welcome upgrades over the Pro 3, for starters one being the new eco friendly packaging. Pitaka’s presentation has always been top notch, their older cases coming in a box with built in magnets that opened almost like a book. The switch to a biodegradable box is certainly an upgrade and just a cool extra thing that they didn’t have to include but like the prior magnetic boxes they went and put in the extra effort anyways.It’s partly made out of a chamfered rubber like material that provides a close yet comfortable fit around the screen of your phone and moving onto the back it’s predominantly made of Pitaka’s classic 1500D woven aramid fiber. You wouldn’t expect it to be grippy if you were comparing it to what you’d find on a sports car but this aramid fiber has a nice woven texture you can feel and is about as grippy as a silicone case.The MagSafe compatible magnets integrated into the back of the case are some of the strongest magnets I’ve seen in any case. I would compare them to the magnets Apple uses in their own cases. Every night I dock my phone on a MagSafe wireless charging stand and the magnets lock on every time and feel very secure.A new addition are the metal volume/power buttons. I’ve had no issues with the older rubber buttons but these new metal buttons just provide a more premium feel.The felt lined interior is nice in the way that it prevents the back glass of your phone from being scratched and I’d imagine it adds just a tiny bit more cushion should you drop it.To conclude, feeling the case hand I’m more than satisfied with my purchase and would gladly choose Pitaka cases for all of my future phone purchases.

I've been using a MagEZ Case Pro for my iPhone 14 for a year. The fit is perfect.. no gaps, buttons line up and pressure required to depress them feels right. Not too easy where you trigger them unintentionally and not so hard you can skip the gym.What drew me to the case was the great looking subdued weave pattern and the seamless molded look.I'm a sucker for tech, who wouldn't like a case made with aramid fibers that may stop high velocity projectiles from piercing vital organs. The only thing this case is missing is some sort of hexagon technology.The MagEZ Pro provides excellent protection for it's size. Most of my drops happen when the phone slides out of a pocket onto concrete and occasional finger slips when trying to open the car while holding the phone and groceries. My Apple Silicon cases would scratch and peel. Despite multiple drops my MagEZ Pro shows no scratches or wear and tear. The case is grippy providing a desirable tacky friction but not in a rubbery way that pulls your pockets inside out when removing the phone.The MagSafe positioning magnets hold the phone with sufficient force that it's never fallen off the car charger.I was pleased to learn that this year the MagEZ Pro for the iPhone 15 Pro Max would be available for order before the phone released. This would be the first year I had the case I wanted without having to buy a place-holder case for several weeks.The MagEZ Pro arrived and I'm still waiting for the phone. The case looks nearly identical to the one I've used on the iPhone 14. Fit & Finish, polish is perfect. New for this year are 3 thick stickers included with the case for use to improve the fit if needed. Hoping they won't be needed but appreciate they were included.

This case does the job, good protection without being too bulky. Not too thin where you feel like it’ll break. I gave it 4 stars due to the price and how easy smudges and finger prints shows up. If the price was more reasonable and they can find a sturdy material that won’t smudge it would be perfect. Good job on the phone case!
