Sanity saver
I have been using it for three months so far, to make formula bottles for my daughter. It has especially saved my sanity overnight to make feeds quickly without having to leave my bed.I haven’t had any issues with it and the water added is always the correct amount. The only issue some people might have is the noise. It does sound a little bit like a burger van for the duration of the bottle being made. My husband manages to sleep through it and he’s a light sleeper but it’s definitely loud.

Lifesaver
I know a lot of people will be put off by the price and have to consider whether ‘it’s worth it’. We’ve recently welcomed our second child and didn’t have a prep machine with our first born and it really has proved to be a game changer this time around. Especially when you’re enduring the delight that is the night feed. You can quickly whip up a bottle at a ready to serve temperature that is safe for your baby to drink.I spent countless hours in the middle of the night with our first child following the traditional method of boiling the kettle, mixing up a bottle, running it under cold water / leaving it in a jug of cold water to cool down. Then having to splash it on my own arm to test for temperature and then finding it was either still too hot or i’d let it cool down too much. All that with a baby screaming the house down waiting for a feed. All that hassle and rigmarole can be avoided with this product. I genuinely appreciate that times are hard financially for a lot of people at the moment but if you have the money to spare or have a relative or loved one who wants to buy you a present to welcome in your new arrival I really would urge you to consider getting this product. Of all the purchases i’ve made for our new arrival I can safely say that this is hands down the best money i’ve spent.

Be warned this machine is giving babies colic & silent reflux, hot shot not enough for milk
There is a reason NHS guidelines advise against this machine. The hot shot fails.Try it yourself with a thermometer.( had my machine less than a month)I'm very lucky I got this machine from Amazon. When I contacted tommee tippee I received a real disregard for concern and was told " some babies dont take to how the machine makes the milk ".... this is a lie.First two weeks my I gave my newborn instant milk formula.I had read the prep machine starts at 4oz and this is alot for a newborn. But I had a hungry baby that was pretty much drinking 2-3 oz.I decided to use the machine and not worry about waste.About a two weeks after using the machine I noticed my baby would scream after feeds. She wasnt settling and would grunt alot.I thought at first, maybe I have a fussy baby.I tried infacol and detinox, helped a little at first but same symtoms continued.Gp advised to change milk.Symptoms still continued and baby started to gargle and splutter when on her back. She seems to also have alot of pain in her tummy.I took her again to the gp baby was screaming after every feed, seemed to have stomach pains , grunting and became constipated....baby was put on infant gaviscon.Again a little improvement.I happend to go out all day with baby and only had instant milk. She seemed to have her first "good day" shes had in ages.I continued the next day on instant and she was fine.I ran out of instant milk and as soon as I gave baby a bottle front he machine she screamed in pain and wouldn't finish it.Then I realised it could be the machine.I tried kettle bottles and using a flask with cooled bottled water and baby was fine. The only reaction my baby had was when the machine was used.Within 48hours of not using the machine baby showed a great improvement.A month after not using machine baby was baby to being happy and normal.I felt like I had my baby back.Baby even stopped needing infacol. No symtoms and now sleeps through the night. If you dont believe me, join mum groups online and Facebook and ask, these machines are making babies sick....not just mine. Will be reporting to trading standards.(Also machine started sputtering during use of hot shot and would over fill bottles )

Life saver
This thing has got me through baby’s first year.Had to make the move to formula as my baby had a cows milk allergy. Having to boil water is such a hassle, and waiting for it with a crying hungry baby is a nightmare. Decided to spend the quid to get the “fancy machine” as I was already exhausted and just looking to make anything even a bit easier. This machine is definitely worth the money. Add your scoops of formula to the bottle, choose the ounces, and it will pour a hot shot fairly quickly. Close the bottle and shake it, then put it back and get the cold shot. Bam. Bottle done in 2 minutes.Had to go on holidays for a week without my prep machine and actually missed it!10/10, if you’re a formula parent, get this!

Filters
The filter that comes with the machine is not a tommee tippee filter it's come from a company called water drop. The tommee tippee filters are to wide for the water to pass through.Otherwise it's a great product
