Really good tuna, line caught, not much water in can. Tasty too.

I don't know why the grocery store's PREMIUM, white and whole piece/large chunks tuna I have enjoyed for decades has evolved into mushy, foul-smelling slop. All 3 major brands are guilty. First, it was Chicken of the Sea- I thought spokesperson (spokesfish?) Charlie must have died and he was replaced with a catfish because that is the only explanation I could think of for the strong stench of cat food when opening the can.After the other two followed suit, I started buying *** Tuna. I was willing to pay the higher price for a product I thought was ethically caught and processed solely in the US under the stricter FDA guidelines. Then I read about a class action suit brought against the company for false claims about both their sourcing and where the fish is actually processed. This may or may not be true, but it was enough to spur me to look at other options. I was happy to find this brand, particularly since the cost is about HALF what I had been paying. I was also pleased to have the option to get 'no added salt'. Since these critters live in salt water, I feel that is plenty of sodium for me.

I eat a lot of canned tuna and feel safer with this brand’s mercury testing. Plus it’s great quality, low sodium and delicious.

The taste is a less oily\gamey than other larger commercial brands.The tuna is expensive compared with other larger brands, but there is no risk of Mercury.The extra two bucks you can make up by buying ViVA towels, you can make up damage to your liver.I'm not a tuna lover, but this is probably the only tuna I buy from now on.Eat smarter and healthier, live happier and longer.
