The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity 3 (FRAGRANT FLOWER BLOOMS WITH DIGNITY GN)

This series is so sweet and wholesome it’s almost too much to bear, but I love it. Continuing where the previous volume left, Rintaro’s friends follow him to his meeting with Kaoruko and Subaru. Instead of a confrontation, it leads to everyone becoming friends, much to Rintaro’s surprise. We learn he didn’t use to have any in middle school. And he and Kaoruko go on a date! Neither calls it that, but Rintaro can no longer deny he has a crush on her. No cliffhanger ending this time.

It also made me laugh out loud that my dog was looking at me like I’m crazy. This volume was super wholesome and a whole lot of sweetness. It was 8 chapters and it really progressed the relationship between Kaoroku and Rintaro. That scene when Rintaro finally realized his feelings just made me feel so giddy and happy in the simplest way. I can’t wait to see more of them in the next volume!
