I've been using it for a few months now and the only issue I've ever had was my keyboard not being recognized when I started my Ally up. Only happened a few times and all it took to fix was unpluggging and plugging it back in.i give it two thumbs up

I’ve been holding off on getting a docking station beause i thought it I would use the Steam Deck exlusively as a handheld. After digging more into the backend of it in desktop mode, it became really painful to use the joysticks and touchscreen for installing apps and configuring it.This docking station makes things soo much easier now! Not only can I connect my screen, but my Steam Deck stays very cool during usage. The fans look awesome and it’s not loud and distracting. Another benefit of this dock is it’s wide enough for the case I have on it, and I feel confident I could get a much thicker case and it would still fit fine. It’s really nice quality and the cable that connects it feels durable and gives me confidence it’ll last a long time., With that being said, this is an excellent value! Defintely recommend it.

Fans are loud and move very little air. Made no difference to my temp. But the fans have to be on if you’re using the device while on the docking station or it will cause your device to overheat. The biggest part that caused me to return it is the Ethernet port is capped at 10Mbps. I have 1Gbps fiber and tried the rog ally on airplane mode connected directly to the docking station and highest speed I got on multiple testing platforms was 9.8Mbps. I connected my iPhone 16 pro max and iPad to the USB C port and got the same results then used the same Ethernet port with a different docking station and got 985Mbps up and download. Wouldn’t have purchased had I known this would have been the result.

This is a great dock. Works perfectly with my steam deck and Nintendo Switch. I have no complaints with it at all. I just wish it had a travel case! I've tried looking for something compatible for it but Lisen doesn't make one, and I cant find one made by another company either. Other than that I'd buy this again 100%

Edit: I'm updating my review and increasing my rating in case anyone else runs into this. I have solved the issue I describe below. It turns out it is important which USB-C port you use on the ROG Ally X. The lag disappears if I use the right USB-C port (when facing the device).I'm still giving this four stars instead of five. For whatever reason, my ROG Ally X complains that the power isn't up to spec when I power it through the docking station. If I take the same USB-C power cable that I'm plugging into the docking station and plug it directly into the ROG Ally X, it not longer complains. It doesn't directly affect performance. I have to manually change the performance mode on the ROG Ally X when connecting to the docking station, and the power seems to still be enough to keep it charged when docked.Here is the original review: There is a noticeable video lag between joystick input and response on screen. It’s just enough to throw off any fast twitch action games like FPS shooters. I have a ROG Ally X (2024), and tried also connecting it to my TV using an Anker USB-C to HDMI adapter, and the video lag was no longer noticeable (completely gone as far as I could tell), but the lag came right back when connected to the Lisen.
