The magnification is great, there is a clear image and the magnifier has a large area to look through. I'm using mine for jewellery beading, the previous, somewhat smaller one I owned made it difficult to get a view of the whole piece, so the larger area here really helps. I tend to set it so I can focus on my hands rather than the table...you can't do both, but this is in the nature of focal points and I can still find my beads!Because it plugs in, via USB, the light is bright and consistent. The listing and recommended items suggests it needs batteries but this isn't the case.It comes with a table clamp and a heavy base. I've found both to be useful, I've got the clamp on my desk but occasionally I like to head in front of the television and the clamp wouldn't fit on my side table so the base makes it easy to use the magnifier wherever it suits. Both balance well.Great value for money, lovely and bright, clear image, good size and versatile in use. Totally recommend.

Fantastic, love ❤️ it.Great magnification and strong variable lights. Very sturdy. Have not had one before, so I cannot make any comparisons, however, I'm very happy with this product 😄.

Good build quality, sturdy, lighting is reasonable and no excess heat from the light source.Magnifying lens is glass.Base plate is metal and good size.You’ll need a reasonable usb power pack or a 240v to usb plug / lead combination to power the lamp (presumably 5v).I used a phone power pack which worked well.

I originally purchased this for diamond painting but I now use it exclusively when cross-stitching on 25 count fabric. The magnifier comes with both a metal stand as well as a table clamp. The clamp is strong and easy to tighten onto the edge of a table, or in my case, my embroidery stand. The light has several brightness settings as well as settings to change the colour temperature. I found the first "warm" level to be the most comfortable for my eyes.The viewable magnified area is only in the centre of the glass, so it can take a bit of shifting to make sure that my project is in focus, but it's not too bad. It would have been nice if the whole glass area was useable though. The magnifier is attached to a gooseneck arm which is nice and flexible, and feels sturdy. I do wish that it was a bit longer as it feels a bit short. This product is well made, and despite a few niggles, I would happily recommend this.

Nice and bright, good magnification and different light tones and brightness levels can be set. The magnifying glass is useful for really close small detail work. There are 2 options to fix the light to the table, with the included heavyweight, but flat stand, or the clamp.Overall a great light with magnification for painting or needle work.

Great bit of kit. Variable shades of light and variable brightness. Good magnificationand very stable base. Just what I needed for tying my fishing hooks as my vision isn't what it used to be.

A great product and lasted nearly a year.Technically it is still working however the bracket joining the flexible arm and the lamp / magnifying glass piece is made of very thin metal alloy which has now broken.It’s good if you intend to keep it in the same position all the time. If you need to adjust it a lot, and the only way to do that is by the top light bit, then it will eventually break in the weak point..

Just what I wanted, the different settings just a bonus, value for money and easy to assemble.
