Better than velcro, especially in dirty places
CONCLUSION: 100% recommended buy. This type fastener stays cleaner than hook and loop because it doesn't hold onto dirt the way the fabric in velcro does. It also brushes cleaner and easier. Best for holding non-heavy objects in place, especially lighter objects that need to be removed and reattached often.FEATURES: Very simple. The two sides interlock and hold. No instructions come with the product. Follow the directions on the product page for applying the tape to the type of surfaces that it will adhere to.TESTING: I wanted to add a powerful rare earth magnet to the face shield and hard hat combo I use for grinding metal so that it would catch filings and particles before they could reach my eyes or nose. I cut the strips to the size of the magnet and put one side on the frame of the shield and the other on the magnet. The photo shows the magnet mounted in place. I then removed and reattached it several times. The strip holds tightly enough that the magnet will not fall or be easily knocked off of the shield. At the same time, it doesn't require a very strong pull to remove it so that pulling on the magnet would break the adhesive bond between the shield and strip or magnet and strip. It worked perfectly. You can have confidence in using these strips.

Not bad, but I prefer velcro tape
This is basically velcro tape, but only the rough side. It's a really neat invention. It's not great for anything too heavy, but it's been working well to mount power strips, a USB-C hub, and my remotes. It's hard to tell if this is genuine 3M adhesive -- I have similar strips that came with other products which I'm sure are genuine and the printing on this looks different, but who knows. The adhesive works great either way. Ultimately, I just like velcro tape better. I'm used to having a huge roll I can cut as needed. For my remotes, I prefer using the soft side of the velcro and then I use the rough side to mount. This is better for objects that I'm likely to move or reposition, but not actually use or remove often.

Mushroom top connectors are more durable than hook and loop
I'm using this to mount the solar panel on my boat over the gangway hatch which needs to be removable when the dodger is installed. The mushroom top spacing appears standard and fits nicely with a clear version I already have which makes it very adaptable.

Decent adhesion, too easy pull apart
The adhesive is good, the actual hold of the hood and loop is pretty weak. It is extremally easy to pull apart, this might keep something from sliding around on a table but will not hold anything together.

Best Locking Tape
I've used products like this in the past. It's not really Velcro, it's a plastic hard material that interlocks similar to the way Velcro interlocks. It holds really well even in wet locations. This comes with 3M mounting tape on the back which is very strong. If you need to mount something that will feel solid and not move but still be removable, this stuff is awesome. It can withstand vibration as well so if you need to mount something on a motorcycle it'll work for that as well. I used some to mount a Valentine One detector on a small metal plate that is clamped to a handlebar and the detector is solid.
