We initially used the item for a birthday party with a preloaded video via USB, this worked fine, other than poor image quality. However, once home and decided to use the projector instead of a tv in one of our bedrooms, the device refuses to open/play any of the apps. The image quality and brightness are beyond awful, none existent connectivity. It's basically only any good if you either play back via USB or cast from another device. Avoid at all costs, if I could give zero stars - I would.

Bought for my daughter on her birthday 14th birthday and I had to do numerous updates but after that all apps working and downloading but it was a pain continuously entering the WiFi password for every update. Once fully updated it works great and the only downside we have found is that the fan is noisy so our next purchase is a small speaker with a jack input. We have only been using it for one day so far all good.Edit; had it two weeks now and yes it connects to all our apps ie Netflix, Disney, discovery, YouTube and we have plugged in the sky mini box which work a treat too. I have no idea about a fire stick but I am assuming if I plugged that in it would work too.

Just received order, on time as always with Amazon prime.The projector is very light, and well balanced so it stays on the small round base the have.I switched on device, found WiFi connection, signed it to my home WiFi. Then I signed in to my Google Play, but Now TV app isn't supported, so you cannot even install it. Installed Disney Plus, signed in, but it doesn't work. Installed Amazon Prime, signed in, it doesn't work.The projector has pre installed Netflix, signed I , and it does work. It has Disney+ but it says it needs update, when you try to update it doesn't work.Concluding only Netflix work, no Now TV, no Amazon Prime and no Disney plus. Practically 25% of the platforms in our household.Then I thought to trick the device by casting my Android phone. Connected to projector via Miracast, and when i tried to play Amazon Prime, I get the audio but no video!!!! Same applies to Now TV and Disney plus. So that connection is useless to us.Finally, we used our Amazon Stick, via the HDMI port, that works fine for all the aforementioned apps. But that means you have to have a second device to make it work, so you lose flexibility plus an extra plug to power.Now the projected image is not good at all at day light, even in a darker-ish room, the sound seems okay for the moment. We haven't really watched any movie yet, as I wanted to see the device connectivity, which as I explained is sub-expected.I'm the evening we will test the device again, and see if the image is improved in the dark. If that is not the case, then we will return it as it would be useless to us.Hope I help someone else out there to make a decision about buying or not this device.
