Portable SSD with decent speed but a caveat
Bought this to backup just about everything I have digitally. Drive looks well made (though the rubber coating is a dust magnet) and the read/write speeds, while not top-notch, is still decent enough for my needs. The surprising part being it cannot be securely erased, even with Samsung's own software. This means I can't simply wipe the drive and sell it on the used market a few years on. Hope Samsung will listen and address this in a firmware update.

Works but slow
Easy to setup and use but real life data transfer speeds are painfully slow. Looks well made , small and easy to transport. Expensive for what it is given the slow performance

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH REKORDBOX
Tried every troubleshooting step available to try and get this working. I've worked in IT for 10 years, but cannot get the drive to work within Rekordbox which is what I purchased it for. Will be sending it back.

Seems solid
Great little 8tb SSD for a reasonable price, could have a quicker write speed for a SSD but you’d probably have to pay more for that.

hit or miss when it connects majority of time even though products it connects to are samsung doesnt show content useless ssd give negative stars if i could

Drive crashed with all media on day 1
We had a film shoot for a TV show, and we lost a day of footage on one of the drives which crashed on its first transfer out of the box. We bought 8 of these and avoiding at all costs.

BEWARE !! harddrive randomly stopped working after 2 months
