very elementary level

It's a very simple, systematic and thoughtfully well-written book for the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry. I like the level of details covered in a very simple and easy to understand language. Also, it's detailed enough to show the fullest depth of what an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) is all about and what it matters to both, authors and end users. Atul has given his fullest insights, well-researched and thoughtfully written the book, which is not only the first of its kind but also every pharmaceutical manufacturer should give it to their quality and manufacturing teams that authors hundreds of SOPs for use. I would highly recommend this book to all fellow pharmaceutical industry colleagues.

Finding guides on writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are surprisingly difficult to find. SOPs act as an unsung hero for many industries, yet they are hardly given a second thought. It turns out the difference between a great SOP and a shoddy one makes a very large difference in the outcome of the effectiveness of the procedure. Atul lays out the roadmap for quality SOPs in a very lucid way. I was able to take his insights immediately back to my workplace and provide a tangible result. For anyone that writes or uses SOPs I highly recommend this book.

Very pragmatic and easy to read. This book was well organized and explained the hows and whys to an SOP. There is a great quality checklist at the end of the book as well.
