The media could not be loaded. I purchased this module because I wanted a rechargeable Battery box for my train. The The module charges effectively fast. The downside however is that it's not very train friendly (As I've seen stated in other reviews of this). Thankfully, my train had a POWER FUNCTIONS IR receiver included in the build, so I was able to use the remote that came with the train to operate it. Unlike the battery it originally came with, this module is smaller in height, so I had to modify the roof button with my extra inventory parts. (See video).

While their other products are good, this one is not.Pro: Charges fast. Can use controller or app. Has 4 connections that can be controlled. Cost. Compatible with Power Functions. Lightweight. Smaller than typical Power Functions battery box.Cons: Bluetooth constantly is disconnecting from remote and from app. Has a range of about 5 feet. Looses connection after about 45 seconds. Unless I am holding the remote button down, motor will not keep running. Remote does not do variable speed. App has to be reprogrammed each time it's opened. App does do variable speed and speed lock, but if you are out of the 5ft range or connected longer than a minute, it looses connection and the battery defaults to off.I bought a 2nd until thinking my one was defective and I would just eat the cost. Nope. Both function the same way. Thought I could lock the battery in the on position and connect the Powered up IR receiver to control, nope, doesn't work. IR receiver errors out when connected to these battery boxes. I didn't find a way to define either battery box separately in the app.I think I am going to just stick with the battery box. They are super light and a bit smaller than the traditional Powered Functions battery box. Plus they are rechargeable which is what I want the most.
