These actually work great. I read the other reviews about the welds being sloppy, but I bought two of them and neither one was bad enough to prohibit use. They bolt on very securely. If you put them on before you put on the factory knee controller pads, you can use the factory fasteners, lock washers, and they have thread locker already on the fasteners. Way easier to use than the knee pads for control. The phone mount is the only part that looks like I would take issue with. It is a little flimsy and I am not sure I want to put an expensive phone on that bracket. I am going to buy a more secure ram-mount phone cradle and see if I can use the ball mount that comes with the handlebars. I use those on motorcycles a lot, and they are very secure. Overall, really nice product, works great, price is fair.

Has made my miniLite much easier to control, and the integrated kickstand and phone holder are another plus. Instructions are a little lacking, and the screws for attaching the base for the phone holder are so tiny it's hard to get it on fully tight. Still, it made it much simpler to drive - particularly since the miniLite default controller is not adjustable. If you're going to use the miniLite for more than the occasional ride, this is a worthwhile investment.

No welding issue with mine. Easy to install and best of all, this handle has a quick release mechanism once the two screws are bolted in. So it's very easy to stow the Segway MiniLite apart from the handle. Now I can detach the handle quickly and just store 3 Segway MiniLite in the trunk. Remember that the knee control on the Segway MiniLite does not have a quick release mechanism like the MiniPro. Kick stand works great and now it's easy to walk the MiniLite without having to bend down to steer the knee control. Also this add stability for bumps and imperfections on the road.

Everything fit perfectly on my MiniLite. Instructions are a little vague at the first but if you've got any mechanical knowledge then everything will be fine.In putting it together, I did notice that it would be very easy to over tighten the screws, therefore stripping them out during assembly. If you use caution then you also should be fine and I suspect this is where some buyers have had bad experience during assembly.Would highly recommend to those with a MiniLite. More stable and much safer ride with this handlebar installed.

Very useful addition to minilite! Makes easier to get on/off & control. Directions are lacking. However...Finally figured out how to assemble & attach integrated kickstand (no mention in single page instructions). Biggest problem was removal of knee controller...had to resort to block of wood & rubber hammer to remove.

We just installed them this weekend and they fit the mini Segway. It's great to have the phone holder and the stability of having the handlebar vs. the knee for maneuvering around.

Like - made of quality materials. fairly easy to install. Looks great, like original equipmentDislike - makes the minipro top heavy and engages the drive, so the minipro will move with no rider. Big hazard

When you turn on the segway it starts rolling forward. This is problematic if you don't have your cell phone with you as the segway just starts rolling forward. Second issue is the quick release hinge broke when I tried to close the hinge.
