SIE Exam Prep 2025-2026: Complete Review + 510 Questions and Detailed Answer Explanations for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials Exam (6 Full-length Exams)

I bought this as a companion to my Kaplan study materials. I found this incredibly helpful because they word the questions differently than Kaplan. I felt much more ready for the exam because of this book. It provides you with MULTIPLE full-size exams. I certainly wouldn't make this my primary study guide, but It's very good as an extra question bank!

This material seems sufficient to supplement one's knowledge and prepare them for the SIE exam. I am still trying to find where to access the audiobook version that is stated to be included.

This study guide is so worth picking up. With over 500 questions and 6 full exams, there is no reason you shouldn't pass the exam. Each question provides a complete rationale for what the correct response should be, leaving no room for doubt or uncertainty. Plus it provides tips and information to help you better understand the exam. In addition to all of that, there's this little bonus addition- "**The paperback version includes a code for downloading the 12-hour audiobook and 500 Flash Cards, at no extra charge**" I highly recommend this study guide to anyone taking the FINRA SIE.

Test questions could have been a bit tougher, but helped me pass no problem

This study material is barebones. It's sprawling chapters of thin content. If you want to ingest your study material like it's scrolling credits at the end of a pbs documentary, then this is for you.However, it is a rare occurrence if you happen upon any visual learning material. And when it is, it's a table. No diagrams. No graphs. No visuals. No figures.Additionally, there is no addition emphasis on information or focus. Nothing tells you what are key topics. And you are NOT able to practice each chapters topics separately because the practice tests are just that, not chapter tests. (This means you won't be able to test your knowledge until you finish the entire book.)And, perhaps the greatest deficit, there is NOT an index or a glossary at the end. This means when you're tested on something in their practice tests, you can't flip to the back of the book to quickly review the source of the question.Lastly, the practice test will test your knowledge on topics that it doesn't even discuss. There were four instances of being asked specific questions in their practice tests, having no idea what it's speaking about, flipping page by page to try to find the chunk of text that refers to the topic, and finding out the material did not actually cover the information.I'm sure there are other study guides out there that don't feel like it was ai generated. Find a book that was written by humans that actually want to teach and help people instead of a CVS Receipt of all the SIE information that could be hemorrhaged out of the algorithm.

For visual learners - this is not our book! There are zero graphs or charts to explain the concepts or flow through information. It’s good at simplifying the information but delivery is not very interactive. Also misleading as to audiobook - there’s absolutely no way to access it through purchase of this book. Will need supplemental study material.

I love the amount of information given along side proactive exams 10/10!!Also the paper back version comes with digital flash cards and a audio book, it’s not robotic either :)
