Great tool for the money!

A friend of mine is a gunsmith, and has bugged me about not using a torque wrench for mounting scopes. I'm an amateur. I didn't know that the "wrench" they mostly use is really a torque screwdriver. This one looks nice, and it works. The socket wrench design isn't the best for scopes. I did borrow his to check how accurate this one is, and it was basically dead on with his. I wound up having to use the extension, which puts your hands pretty far away, and that makes it hard to keep in place. But since I will only use it once in a while, I don't think there is anything technically wrong with it.I can see this being useful for bicycles, and the design might even be better there. I took off one star. Not because it didn't work, but because the listing says "scopes" and it's not exactly designed for that. I also just learned that torque wrenches have to be re-calibrated, so I don't know if it will remain accurate over time. If I find out that it doesn't I will update.

Very complete set up. Easy to dial inch pounds. I like the push button release for the different sockets. Nice crisp soft break at dialed inch pounds. Very good deal. It says to recalibrate at 1 year or 5000 uses. I will be dead and gone before I use it 5000 times. Even if I use it in my automotive engine building assembly!!!!

Not industrial grade, but great for the DIY person. Good value.

I am very happy with this wrench.I need a precision torque wrench for the camper and this is perfect. It comes with a good selection of attachments and I am pleased it also has screwdriver heads too.It comes in a convenient hard carrying case, I must remember to put everything back when I’ve finished using it!The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It recommends that the tool is calibrated once a year or after 5000 uses but as I am not a professional, I don’t know where you would get this done.

This is a very nice torque wrench set for smaller screws and bolts. It is a 1/4 drive, so you aren't going to use it to change the lugs on your truck tires. For smaller objects, particularly machinery and bicycles, this is going to be an excellent size.The case is very solid plastic. It holds the wrench loosely and the bits tightly. Thankfully the bits are easy to remove, even though they are held securely.The handle is machined aluminum and very pleasant. The anodization was applied nicely. A silver aluminum ring locks the handle in place. To change settings, move the ring and rotate the handle to the desired setting. The motion is very smooth, not a hint of chatter or wobble.The extension bar is very handy. If you want to use your existing sockets just grab a 1/4 adapter.The bits appear to be of good quality. I will update this review as I use the wrench on machinery, but for now the construction quality looks very solid and it is a nice package that contains many common bits.

We have a lot of hobbies in this household. We are constantly looking for a wrench. You’d think we would have many because of that reason. We have one, and we are constantly looking for it. Because someone else is using it or previously used it. I have my own now, for my little projects. Whether it’s fixing a furniture piece, or the bikes or resin and wood projects. This will definitely be useful. Also the petite carrying case is a plus. I can put it away neatly in a designated spot. Works well, I did try it out.

Using the torque mechanism makes it easier to tighten bolts or un tighten them. Also works great for areas where you can not reach with a straight screw driver. Like the set and the options it came with. Also I can use it with my other tools as a socket wrench. The only thing that is not clear enough is setting up the correct torque but it's not like I only use it for that.
