My audiophile buddies are aghast when they hear this DAC. It performs as well or better than their $30,000 investments. There is so much hype in high end audio, but this little DAC performs equally well if not better. Spend the difference on a better amplifier or speaker such as Luxman and Magico.

An absolutely transparent sounding balanced DAC that is loaded with features but can also act as a preamp. Balanced and RCA outputs make hooking up several head or preamps possible. And the remote is simple and it works.

Nice and compact, terrific sound quality, fantastic performance to price ratio. It calls into question why one has to spend more. Get this unit, and spend more money on room acoustics and music.

Paid for the brand new unit and received an open item. The package had everything in it and works great, so I am not returning it. I wish the seller were open about it upfront.

This DAC has good looks, a small size and is loaded with features for an amazing price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This dac gets you a clear, transparent premium presentation. But the depth and soundstage takes a hit, leading to less overall musicality. You don’t feel as impacted by the music. The bass is clear and punchy. You will need to download drivers from topping in order to even use the dac. I've encountered multiple audio dropouts when using an optical cord and apparently this is a known issue. Toppings customer support runs on a different time zone and for my experience hasn't provided much troubleshooting assistance. At one point I was asked to send a video, now how would a video help for an audio issue? Last thing, the box I recieved had a large dent and the power cord had scratches on it. The dacs lack of musicality is subjective, but the lack of customer support, the audio dropouts and recieving the box damaged and item possibly used my rating goes to a 3 star.
