turtle beach at their best
I ordered this for my gaming PC but use it on both PC and Series XIt arrived in branded box on removing your meet with a well made but lightweight flight stick. Now I’ve been using the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flightstick with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 on both PC and Xbox Series X,for sometime and it’s been a great addition to my setup. The flightstick is well-built, responsive, and comfortable to use, offering a much more immersive experience compared to a standard controller. The button layout is intuitive, with plenty of programmable buttons and controls that work well for managing flight functions without needing to dive into menus. The Hall-effect sensors give smooth and precise inputs, which makes a noticeable difference in handling aircraft, especially during takeoff, landing, and maneuvering. The throttle lever and hat switches add to the realism and give good control over flight operations. Compatibility was straightforward — it worked right out of the box with both Flight Sim 2020 and 2024, with minimal setup.Whether flying casual or more advanced aircraft, this flightstick strikes a nice balance between accessibility and realism, making it a solid choice for beginner and intermediate sim enthusiasts.Overall, the VelocityOne Flightstick offers great value, solid performance, and a more immersive experience for flight simulation fans on Xbox and PC.

Worth the premium price tag
This joystick is great. It feels so lovely to use, the ergonomic stick fits perfectly in your hand and the adjustable pad makes fitting it to your hand nice and easyI wanted a flight stick that had a 'premium' feel to it, and this definitely has that. It's double the price of other joysticks but that's reflected in the build quality; no sharp seams, strong buttons and decent resistance. The throttles on either side are a nice addition too.Great that I can also switch over to xbox from pc, just plug in and switch settingsMy only issue with it is that it's tricky to keep it on the desk when you're in intense flight. I got it for Arma 3 so the flights can get pretty intense and I've crashed due to the stick being pulled off the desk. It has screws on the bottom to mount it though, so there's thatOverall I'd definitely recommend if you want a premium joystick that you can use easily on both xbox and pc. For someone looking for a full setup, you might be better off going for a more complete set but this stick is great either way

Right stick stiffness for serious MSFS flight training
After a lot of research on different options, I went for the VelocityOne stick because it can act as a throttle, controls and rudder all in one instead of spending money on separate pedals for the rudder. I have only used it to learn to fly using MSFS based on real-world PPL training materials and have no interest in using it for gaming. I have seen some YouTube reviews complaining that the stick is too stiff. Regarding the stick stiffness, I personally find it perfect for flying GA aircraft. If you use the stick for other types of gaming, like flying sci-fi spaceships, it may be too stiff for large and aggressive movement. Then you should look elsewhere. The VelocityOne stick is also good for flying MSFS helicopters with the throttle as collective pitch control. I really like the trim wheel, which works very well with the fantastic A2A Comanche 250 add-on. The MSFS Cessna 172 does not work well with the trim wheel(lots of pilot-induced oscillation PPO with the trim wheel), and it has nothing to do with the VelocoityOne stick. So far, I have left all the sensitivity settings to default. Overall I have nothing to complain given the price and good built quality.

Perfect for PC with MSFS 2024 and Fenix Airbuses.
I purchased this to replace my aging Logitech Extreme3DPro joystick that was as old as the hills (you served me well!). It is primarily used to play MSFS 2024 on my PC with the Fenix A3xx Airbus series, the Just Flight RJ Professional and the PMDG Boeing 737 series (when PMDG finally pull their fingers out and get it compatible for FS24 that is).My first impressions was that the joystick was lighter than I was anticipated, but the stiffness of the stick was not as much as I had expected, though the twist axis is quite stiff. If you're not careful you can lift one end of the base from your desk as you move the stick, but you soon get used to how that comes about and you can adjust your operation of the joystick. I have actually attached a rubber sucker cup on each corner of the under base of the joystick to keep it a little more firmly attached to the table. The cups I have stuck on with some double-sided sticky tap to the base.Plenty of programmable buttons, certainly enough for me. Also has two throttle levers, one on each side of the stick, but I only have the left one bound to my engines. The right one I have bound to spoilers. You can adjust sensitivities, the lights on the stick (various pre-set colour schemes or off). You can also control those and update firmware via an app you can download to your smart phone. The stick also has Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphone jack in the base.Overall a fantastic product for the price.

Perfect
Great controller. Previously had the full flight system but had no room for it. So downgraded to this. Am very happy with it. Use it with MS flight simulator and it works smoothly with all aircraft

Not good enough
After doing significant research on this item, I wasn't satisfied with it at all.First up, the screen at the top of the stick is protected by thin plastic that is badly molded and can easily be pressed in.The navigation ring at the base of the stick is a cheap plastic, and the movement and selection action is rough and clunky. The buttons all feel cheap and make a loud 'clunk' noise when pressed. The trigger button is a cheap plastic with poor spring action that squeeks when pressed.Perhaps my expectations for £119 is a lot higher than what this product delivers. The design is beautiful, the build quality however is awful. Returned it for a full refund.
