A year in- still loving this scooter!
I bought this scooter about a year ago and have been thoroughly impressed! It was simple to set up, the speed is perfect, and the battery life holds up really well! It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and folds up conveniently. Recently, I needed help replacing a part and the customer service team was responsive, helpful and great to deal with!

Good Value
So far the scooter has been great and customer service has been responsive and helpful. We blew a tire and they addressed it promptly.

It’s a blast
Got it for my kids. It’s great ! We’ve watched him slam it into a fence at full speed. It must’ve crashed at least two dozen times by now that thing still works like a day it came out of the box pretty solid battery last a long time too, and doesn’t take too long to charge.

Almost perfect
I absolutely love this scooter. The suspension makes you feel as if you’re floating. It eats hills up, the power is continuous, the tires are the right sides to avoid potholes, grates, ext.parts that are ok: the lighting will need supplementing, a weak horn, no turn signals, and probably about 60% range on full speed w/heavy rider, and long charging times. Plus it’s on the heavy side, but seems incredibly solid. All inconvenient but you can get around all of these. As for the negatives, my throttle sticks, and my low tire pressure light keeps randomly going off, with no visible tire problems and less than 200 miles. However the biggest bonus is all of the URL saftey ratings that allow me to take it anywhere. For the price I give it top marks.

FUN but terribly glitchy and shuts down!
Absolutely fun to ride… but terribly glitchy. Day 1 there were a couple issues but worked through them. Day 2 was great, rode it to our city's farmer’s market, hardware store and around town. Day 3 started acting up again. I kept getting “10” error code and scooter would shut down. Found for the scooter to work I had leave headlight on during daytime and turn it off at night! I rode it to town for fireworks on the 4th, left it in “locked” mode for about an hour, when I returned the bluetooth wouldn’t connect to unlock it. I had to step 10' away from the scooter for the bluetooth to connect (something I learned on day 1). I rode this thing about 60 miles, never riding more than ½ mile from home, trying to figure out all the issues but every time I though I figured something out it would change . I’d be cruising along then suddenly loose throttle, which nearly knocked me off in turns.. DANGEROUS. When it died I'd have to flip the headlight on & off for the throttle to come back to life. Sometimes error code 10 would show, sometimes not. The throttle feels jumpy/sticky in “sport” mode and the low tire pressure light would not turn off even though I properly filled the tires. I really wanted this scooter to work because it is so much fun to ride… but it’s much too unreliable for me. So it’s getting returned.

The “Mazda” of Scooters…Zoom Zoom!
Hold on to your butts because this thing goes! It’s like the Mazda of scooters because it zoom, zooms and vroom, vrooms. Okay maybe you don’t hear the vrooms but you can feel that pep from the moment your thumb even grazes the throttle after kick off. I bought this scooter as a Prime day gift to myself so I can have something simpler and more portable than my ebike to run errands with. And guess what? It scoots! It’s also very fun to ride for short periods at a time. It’s much easier on my old bones too than a manual scooter. In my opinion the best things about it is it’s build quality, the tire size, the screen orientation, the location of the charger port, the handle bar width, and the best of all its performance! The ride is very smooth and I went a total of 12.3 miles before the battery dropped down to two. According to the stated range in the app I could’ve gone another ten miles! That’s pretty good! I used a combination of standard and sport speed modes too. What I didn’t love about it was the handle bar assembly. It was a bit difficult for me to get the screws in and tightened up. I had to start over a few times because they kept getting stuck. I also detest the latch for the handle bar collapse. That is an awful design and it’s very difficult to align with the hook on the rear hub. The videos make it look so easy but it’s not with the v40. I truly wish that NAVEE would have included the rotating handle bars on the v40 too. All of the scooters should have that same rotating handle bar assembly because I think that makes the folding capabilities much more stable and user friendly. I also think they should make a scooter specific app and not repurpose whatever that mi home app is supposed to be. It almost reminds me of Stratis or something. One other caveat is that the scooter sits pretty high off the ground more so than manual scooters so balancing on it takes some getting used to, but once you do…zoom, zoom, zoom. Other than those minor annoyances, I highly recommend this scooter for your commuting needs as it’s more than adequate for that. I wouldn’t use it on long rides though because it’ll kill your resting foot after a while. Mine is still waking up as I write this review! My compliments to NAVEE for such a great baseline scooter. It certainly doesn’t ride like it’s the lower model and that’s truly amazing.
