Honest review
I recently purchased the Apexel Camera Lens Kit and I'm really impressed with the quality and versatility of this kit. The kit includes an 18x monocular telescope with an eyecup, as well as a 0.63x wide lens and a 15x macro lens. The 18x monocular telescope is perfect for taking long-range photos and getting up close to wildlife or other distant objects. The eyecup makes it comfortable to use for extended periods of time and the lens is crystal clear, providing sharp and detailed images. The 0.63x wide lens is great for capturing panoramic landscapes or fitting more into a group photo, while the 15x macro lens is perfect for capturing intricate details of flowers, insects or other small objects. All the lenses are easy to attach to my phone and come with a sturdy clip that holds the lens securely in place. I've also noticed that the lenses are made of high-quality materials and the build feels solid and durable.Overall, I would definitely recommend the Apexel Camera Lens Kit to anyone who loves to take photos with their phone. It's a versatile and high-quality kit that provides excellent value for its price. I'm looking forward to using these lenses for all my future photography adventures!

Great for a beginner
This is a great piece of kit for a beginner to experiment with. It’ll let you understand what these types of lenses do which is good to know before paying for the real deal. I bought this for my iphone 11 and it works great. It can take a while to adjust the lens properly over the camera and this is especially true for the telephoto lens. However, once everything’s correctly set up, you will notice the difference right away. I went out to see if it would be any use for shots of the moon, like some of the other reviews indicated it would be. I found it hard to reach the quality of some of the other moon pics people have posted in the reviews but it’s quite decent for a beginner. I’m in scotland though and the wind caused the equipment to shake slightly, had it not been for this I think a much more defined and sharper image could have been achievable with this telephoto lens. This is at least what you will be able to expect. Definitely has encouraged me to continue with this new photography hobby and go out and buy better equipment now that I’ve learned a bit. Would recommend.

Don't buy for the zoom lens
I am using this on a Elephone U.You get two clips to be put over the phone (rear) lens: one (A) for the Zoom and another (B) for the macro/wide/fisheye. A is light and can cope with screen protectors (front clip) and can be positioned to avoid the phone thinking you are making a looooog press. B is another matter - it is stronger (to cope with the long lens) and upsets your screen protector. If you have a thin phone (like me) or one with a small notification area, then it is not a secure attachment (wobbly photos result).Things seem to work as expected for the macro/wide/fisheye lenses - although the fisheye effect is slight. The wide lens seems to add an (small) 10% to the scene - which is just about worth having. The Macro effect works OK.However, the telephoto function is poor. If you have a rear cover for your phone, the lens will not got close enough to your phone sensor to properly work. It is also very difficult to position correctly - and you often get a black ring if you do not position it extremely accurately (remember the wobbly clip). Nevertheless, it does provide some additional long-shot functionality. But focus is difficult and I did not think that the long-distance zooming produced pictures of sufficient quality. So think before buying this if you are after a suitable extra zoom facility. Thus, I consider it to be somewhat expensive for a macro/wide addon, not worth it for fisheye, and really not worth it for the zoom.

Great value for money
First, speedy delivery from Amazon - ordered on Friday, free post, due Wednesday but came after lunch on Sunday! The lens kit is such a good fun addition to my smartphone camera. I bought it mainly for the telephoto, which allows you to get much 'closer' than is possible by just using the 8x digital zoom on the camera (which only crops the original full-frame shot, so the image soon becomes 'jaggy'). The example photo was slightly zoomed in, partly because there was a tiny bit of vignetting (dark corners) which is removed if you use the 2x setting on the camera. The bird feeder was about 8 metres from the camera. It's not as sharp as a zoom lens on a DSLR, of course, but then it doesn't cost between £200 and £2000!. It would certainly enable some fun close-ups in a holiday setting, where the extremely portable kit plus phone is much easier to carry than my DSLR. The other lenses were nice, too - I especially like the macro lens, as it gives really sharp images and fill the frame with an object about an inch wide. The fisheye lens gives a fun effect, and the wide angle would be handy, but my Mi A3 already has a good wide angle lens, so I don't need it. Then there are all the other bits - a handy tripod, carry bag, cleaning cloth and lens caps, plus the bluetooth remote shutter control. That device alone is a valuable part of the kit. It paired with my Mi A3 instantly and I'm sure I will use it with the phone on a tripod when I need a still camera and want to catch several shots at the exact moment without jogging the camera. It's useful, even without the lenses. All in all, there is so much included for the money, it has to be great value. If you want sharper images, you need to spend 10 or 100 times the money.[Edit] I added the two pictures of a little house, to test the sharpness, distortions and magnification. The close-up one was taken with the telephoto lens and the distant view (which shows the car I was standing next to and so indicates the field of focus from close to distant, as well as the original size of the little house) was taken after just removing the telephoto lens and not changing the MiA3 phone camera setting at all. By measuring between two reference points on the house I estimate the magnification is about 11x - not the 18x claimed by the manufacturer. Not that it matters that much as it's only a cheap, fun, 'toy' at £22 and the house certainly seems a lot closer than without it, so it's still useful. In the telephoto shot quite obvious chromatic and spherical aberrations can be seen towards the edges, but the centre is surprisingly sharp. To see details in the limestone blocks at such a distance is quite satisfying.
