At first the bulb didn’t show up (presumably courier related) so I got in touch with the seller and they were brilliant sending out another straight away. Fits great into a railway bardic for anyone looking to ‘upgrade’.

A great bulb, I bought it to replace a bardic lamp bulb. Excellent service from the supplier as the first one didn’t arrive and the replacement was dispatched promptly and arrived safe.

Seems pricey for a bulb, but the result is a new torch of considerably enhanced brightness.

It provides a perfect replacement/substitute for a regular (halogen) filament lamp used in my ancient 3-cell "Bardic" handlamp; it's substantially brighter than the halogen bulb, output is stable, and the light source is correctly positioned in the handlamp's reflector to produce a correctly focussed beam. Perfect for the job.**Caveat** I can't offer any comment on how long the bulb may last; I haven't used it enough.

Does not work at all as a bike replacement light, probably needs a continuous voltage.

I bought this bulb as an upgrade for a very old torch, and it works perfectly, being much more tolerant of the battery condition than the tungsten bulb it replaced. The light has a cool white colour, but I find that quite acceptable in a torch.

Produces a tight beam in my old torch. Loose fit, compared to the original, so that it has to be centred carefully. Very bright compared with filament.

I have used this bulb in a uni-lite . a energizer hard case . and a draper 12 volt lantern they all feel like new torches.would recommend for alltorches with incandesant bulb.william.
