Worked Great
Great capacitors, It didn't match exactly what I had but it worked fine, Fan spins fast again! Got two for a good price, so I can't complain as it will be a spare. Easy to install, I just used some connectors that I had at home and heat shrunk it. Took maybe 30 minutes taking my time to do it from start to finish.

For Harbor Bay Ceiling Fans-this capacitor fits perfectly!
Problem: One of may outside Hampton Bay fans was operating on just the medium speed setting.Research: After doing internet research, many Youtube contributors suggested the slow speed was do the the Capacitor. I opened the fan and found the Capacitor; located the part number; and ordered the part through Amazon. I observed the colored wires on the old capacitor and was able to find the match. I ordered a Prime eligible part and received it in 2 days.Installation: Took all of 10 minutes. Insured the fan's electrical circuit was turned off. Open the bottom cover; undid the wire-nuts; removed the old Capacitor; match the colored wires and connected the new capacitor. Closed up the Fan and powered up the circuit. The fan is fully functional now. A NEW Hampton Bay fan would have cost $99.00, the capacitor less than $10.00 for two capacitors......The capacitor was solid; had different colored wire, (making it easy to integrate); and had legible label with a clear part number and electrical specifications.

It's working GREAT... BUT FYI (!) 2 year follow-up
My 'dead' 11 year old Hunter fan works GREAT now after replacing the old capacitor, HOWEVER... Don't rely on replacing wires one at a time based on COLOR. My capacitors came (see my picture) with two RED wires, and BLUE, YELLOW, and a BLACK wires... NOT the colors pictured in the Amazon page. Being forewarned of that, compare the wiring diagram on the sided of the old and new capacitors, and it works very well.I'm very pleased with the outcome, just wanted to keep anyone from being 'surprised', as I was.============= JUST FYI, 10/2024 Two capacitors came with this order. The first one lasted all summer and 'went bad'. The fan would not spin up when turned on. I replaced the capacitor again with the 2d one, this summer, and it has lasted all summer again, but now the fan is starting to not want to start AGAIN. It's hard to believe they work so well, but fail after a summers useage. Maybe I'll order a different brand next time ..Oct 24, 2024

Used for successful fan repair
Used this to repair a ceiling fan. The old cap had internally soldered wires so I snapped them off and used wire nuts to attach this new one. It was a little right in the fan housing but it works well.Lose one star for item being dusty and used looking , likely due to being separated from a larger packaged amount.

Fix slow fans cheap
Easy, inexpensive fix for fans running slower than they should on high (i.e. high=medium).Over time the capacitor wears out, especially with frequent use. This is the solution, just make sure the specs (uF rating and number of wires) match what you currently have and you're good to go.Quick, maybe 10 minute install. just fixed two fans for $11! What a difference. I kept thinking they weren't working as good as they used to but because they seem to gradually degrade it's not as noticeable as when you replace it and fan is spinning like new.I highly recommend these; great price for two!

Fixed my harbor breeze fan which had lost high speed fan operation. good replacement
I used 1 and it worked as expected for my harbor breeze fan which was not working on high speed For those who are not sure how to hook it up. This replaces the capacitor which only has 2 wires going to it. You will only use one of the three wire choices available. On my harbor breeze fan the red wire worked fine. I connected the 2 gray wires together as one. Now on my harbor breeze fan with curved blades the capacitor is NOT under the light kit as many indicate BUT you have to remove the piece ABOVE the motor to get to the capacitor which is about 6 screws on the very top. (above the motor) . This capacitor is larger than the one the fan came with so I used a wire tie to get it as tight as possible but the top piece may not seat fully depending on how and where you position the new capacitor.

Not lasting
Went bad after a few months. Replaced on similiar hunter ceiling fans. All failed after a while.

Fixed my Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan
My Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan started running only on High Speed instead of 3 speeds.I first replaced the 3 speed switch, but no change. (This had fixed my other fan in the past.)I had read that if the problem was the Capacitor that it would be obvious because of the deformed shape, but mine looked OK from the top while installed. (see 1st photo) Once I lifted it out of the fan housing, I could see the bulge. (photos 2 & 3 show side & bottom views) After replacing the Capacitor, the fan worked perfectly normal again. The replacement has the same uF specifications. The new one is a little smaller physically, which was good because it fit inside my fan easier. I paid $9.59 for 2 Capacitors because it was only about $1.50 more than 1. I figured that since I have 5 Hampton Bay Fans in my house that I could have a spare ready in case another fan failed. I am VERY HAPPY with the product & would highly recommend it. I Loved this fix because it was not only much cheaper than replacing the whole fan, but I think that it was probably easier too!The first 3 photos are the old bad Capacitor. In the last 2 photos showing the comparisons side by side, the new Capacitor is on the Left.I hope this is helpful.
