Works great for my application
I'm running these in my vintage cars with mild brushed motors and Nimh 7.2v batteries and they are plug and play for that application. If the forward goes right into reverse as has been reviewed here, it was configured incorrectly. In practice mode it will go forward pulling the trigger then brake for pushing the trigger. Then pushing the trigger again will trigger reverse. I have this in some tight configurations and the capacitor legs can be carefully bent 90 degrees to the outside if height is a problem. I have a few and one more as a spare in my kit.

Works very well
I'm in the process of revamping a number of old RC boats, I mean 75mhz type, yea old. I had an old two channel with a bad speed control so I thought what the heck, the price is right and the hookups were right on. In short, it works great, even with the old analog receiver.

Very happy with this used on an old Tamiya Super Blackfoot
I pulled my Super Blackfoot that I built in 1994 out of the closet and replaced the radio that had battery leak damage and was having a blast with it. I decided to finally replace the old stock mechanical speed controller with this and I am very happy with it. Great price and works great! Truck is running very well!

Not good
Melted on the first drive with a 3s lipo (which it’s rated for) on a gravel trail. Emailed the company, have had no reply.

Very fast shipping. The speed controller worked perfectly
Very inexpensive and worked as it should. Doesn't come with instructions but it was plug and play.

Ok for the price
Seems to overheat pretty easily, put it in my old Traxxas Rustler to replace the mechanical speed controller. After running full speed for a few minutes it starts cutting out intermittently. If I leave the body off, it stays cool enough and runs fine. Would probably benefit from a fan or better heat sink. Cant complain much for the price though.
