Q: Can you give me a quick lowdown, like basic instruction of using it for the first attempt pls when I switch on what do I do after that..

switch it on...put the antennae up ...and just listen foe an audible sound and/or the lights to light up. Either indicates a possible spirit energy field is affecting the unit:)

Q: 439.00....are you friggen serious?????....

Got mine from ebay for 170.00......but it's a newer version and works real well. I knew I had something in my house, so I used it for about a week, then one night it went nuts.....ALL the lights came on for about 20 minutes. There are smaller and less expensive ones, but this one got good reviews. It's loud and woke me out of a dead sleep.

Q: How close (or far away) does the target have to be before the alarms go off?

Pretty close to the pod my but watch out walkie talkies may set it off too learned first hand during our team investigation

Q: does this make noises like seen on tv? and does it have a bipod?

A true Rem-Pod does make noises like on TV. It does not come with a bipod.
