Love it if you are experienced yoyo player most likely recommend but for beginners hard to dent

I never even knew YoYo's like this existed until my sons got really into it. They wanted this kind of YoYo to be able to do all these wild tricks they saw online. And they DID! They watched videos and learned some really cool tricks. They even used this YoYo to perform at their school talent show. It was really cool! They are 10 years old.

i got the blue and orange one and while it matches the photos on Amazon for the listing there was a reviewer that had a deep rich navy blue with bright orange that really popped and looked amazing and was hoping that Amazon had poor photos of the real color but that just wasn't the case. probably just an older batch that looks better. *sigh* anyways the yoyo plays very "clinical" in the feeling. very good for $25. came with 2 size c bearings one concave that has "thin lube" for unresponsive play. the other is flat and FULL of THICK lube to make it responsive as opposed to half bearings that other companies might supply. which I like a lot more because I can clean it for a backup unresposive bearing

Honest review time:Spin time - 7/10 - pretty solid for basic stuff and shorter combosResponse - 5/10 - the stock string is the only real drawback here, but it played pretty well when I threw on a Kitty Fat. The response pads are a bit touchy, causing a few missed binds, but it is definitely playable. Especially for a new player.Dna - 7/10 - the dna is easy enough to hit on this yoyo and finger spin time is on par with throws in the same classWeight 7/10 - the weight is fine and the yoyo is very catchable.Catchable/comfortable in had - 9/10 - the yoyo is super catchable and feels very comfortable in the hand. Great for a beginner!Overall - 7/10 - it actually plays a lot better than I expected for the price. It holds its own in short combos, but loses stream pretty fast under stress. The stock string is unplayable and the response pads are touchy. Overall this is a really good budget yoyo and I would recommend it to a new player.

Could be different for each yoyo but my specific butterfly yoyo is slightly off balance causing a lot higher chance of a wobbly spin and the responsive bearing has just enough of a gap between it and the yoyo for the string to drop into and bind shortening the spin significantly. Not a bad price of you're just looking to use it on occasion without expectations. The unresponsive bearing has not given me this issue. All in all a decent buy with the accessories and case included.
