Saves so much tine
This thing has been a life saver. Incredibly easy to use, saves so much time, is very smooth and accurate. It does take up some space.

Will not disappoint!
My only complaint is that I waited this long to get this. I've eyed the Foreman up for years and hesitated just because it's not the cheapest tool there is out there. But, just as every person says that has bought it - it's a crazy time saver! It's easy to use and clean and seems very durable. It's light enough to move around and fits just about anywhere in the shop since it's not big and bulky.

Super easy to use
My husband says this is the best thing he’s ever bought. He uses it practically every day for building cupboards so it’s awesome.!!

Great product from a great company!
The machine is so handy and so easy to use. I ended up having slight problem with my machine and Kreg's customer service made it right.

works good
Works good but I don’t expect it to last to long since it’s mostly made from plastic plus after i did some redesigning since none of the locking screws stayed locked a few minutes of using it

If you make entire kitchens on a regular basis you need this machine!
This product is awesome.Instead of taking 10 minutes to drill pocket holes on my face frames and the sides of the cabinets I can now do an entire cabinet in about 2 minutes. What use to take 2 hours (or more) to do an entire kitchen (15 or so cabinets) now takes about 15 minutes. That's a huge time saver! The only thing I don't like is how long it takes to change from 3/4" material to 1/2" (I use 1/2" plywood for my box sides and 3/4" for the face frames). Switching back and forth is kind of like taking the time to swap out a stack dado blade on the table saw. The solution to that problem only required purchasing another unit and setting one up for 3/4" and the other for 1/2". Some might think that is quite an expense but it is the same as dedicating my second table saw to the dado blade. I can now breeze through each step without stopping to change any setup saving a huge amount of time on an entire kitchen. Now, if I only had $2000.00 for a boring machine so I can get through the adjustable shelf pin holes in the same efficient manner (next purchase). One reviewer complained about the difficulty of getting the unit out of the box; not sure why he had so much trouble. I just cut the tape, folded the flaps down, turned the box upside down and lifted the box off-easy peasy. He also complained about how poorly the manual was written and how difficult the initial setup was. Again, not sure why he had so much trouble as I found the manual was quite well written and easy to follow and the setup took about 15-20 minutes. If you are just making single pieces of furniture or the occasional cabinet then this machine would definitely be overkill but if you are a production shop making 2-3 kitchens a month, this tool is indispensable and will save you huge amounts of time on payroll. At $20/hour for skilled labor, you can expect for this tool to pay for itself in 3-4 months. I cannot speak to how long it will last before I kill it from constant use but it is warranted for a year so even if I have to send it back for warranty service every year it is still a money saver.

Great for people who make lots of pocket holes
I wanted to wait 6 months before reviewing so I had a real world opinion of this machine.I am a cabinet maker and use the Foreman almost every day. I pocket screw all my face frames and the occasional panel. I don't use pocket screws for the entire cabinet, especially if it's going to be paint grade.I work mainly with maple. Alder and walnut on occasion. All that being said I am very satisfied with the Kreg Foreman.I had 2 complaints, one which has been spoken of in other reviews; the slight shifting of the material as the drill plunges, and the rubber "foot" leaving black marks on the wood. Both minor issues, but corrected with a cut out disk of 150 grit sandpaper glued to the rubber foot. The other thing I was very surprised about was how long the drill bit lasted compared to my older K5 pocket screw system. I just now changed out the original bit after almost 6 months of use.Highly recommend!Update: August 2021.Still going strong! I've been working with more stain grade cabinets lately, so have been pocket screwing faceframes on also.No problems, works every time I need it.Forgot to mention: I have the Foreman hooked up to a shop vac that turns on when the Foreman turns on. I'm sure that helps with the drill bit longevity as it keeps the chips cleared out.
