poppy austin Vitamin C Face Serum, Hyaluronic Acid, Oil for Face (1 Oz)

Now that I'm into my 30s I am trying to fight my skin's ageing as much as possible & have started to try new products & incorporate more into my somewhat simple skin care routine. I have some dark patches on my cheeks from birth control & sun exposure that are my only real pet-peeve. I first tried another C serum I purchased off amazon for a few months & was overall happy with the results, but the constancy seemed a little watery & the bottle ran out pretty fast since I like to use it on my face, neck & chest. It was my first time ever trying a C serum & I noticed results after a few weeks. When I ran out of that brand, I decided to try the Poppy Austin serum due to the larger size & the good reviews. After a week of use I had 2 strangers think I was almost 10 years younger than I am. I was actually carded at a store & the clerk (who was WAY younger than me) was surprised at my age. His exact words were "No way"... & I take that as a compliment. I don't think the Poppy Austin C serum is completely the reason (because I am religious about my sunblock & other aspects of my health), but it's definitely made my skin brighter, smoother & is evening out the tone already. My dark patches are still there, but slightly less noticeable. I use it twice a day, morning & night under my regular moisturizer, sunblock & powder make-up with no issues. I will continue to purchase this serum in the future & plan on buying my mother some to try for Christmas this year. Great product!

Nice product. Has a nice consistency, not sticky, doesn't pill and has no odor. Doesn’t oxidize like other more expensive brands have. I’ve been using this every day for about 3 months and don’t see much of a difference in my skin. I was hoping to see glowier skin and faded dark spots by now. Will continue to use.

I've used this morning and night since July 2014. I am 26 years old with very fair skin. When I was younger, I was never good with applying sunscreen and would end up with some pretty bad burns. For the past 5 years, I have been much better with avoiding sunburns or too much exposure to sunlight. However, I have noticed some hyperpigmentation, including a couple age spots and lasting freckles. I've never had bad acne, but have always had a few breakouts and always a couple pimples here and there. I had never used a vitamin C serum before trying Poppy Austin's. Within a few days, I noticed I wasn't getting any new pimples. It completely cleared my skin. It was smoother and softer and more radiant. I honestly felt like my skin was glowing. Since using this for the past 7-8 months, I've noticed a lot of my hyperpigmentation has improved. I still have some "age spots" and little fine lines under my eyes (which I believe are simply genetic) but they have definitely improved. I also have severe dark under eye circles due to my pale complexion and the structure of my eye socket and this has helped helped make it not as severe looking. I feel that I look more awake! I initially bought this for it's great price and since it comes in a 2 oz bottle. I have bought it 2 more times since and plan to continue using it twice a day. I've also recommended it to my mom who is 60 and she loves it!

I waited to leave my review for Poppy Austin Vitamin C until I used it for awhile. Now that I am ordering my next bottle I feel confident to be able to recommend this product. I use this on my face after the rose water every day. I also have used it on my right arm as a test but not on my left arm. Let me tell you that after a couple of weeks I felt bad for my left arm and started using the serum on it also. It softened the dry elbow area extremely well. On my face (which is the point of the product) it has tightened the pores on my nose and helps heal any pimple I get quickly. Before using this serum a pimples would cause a red spot that seemed to never go away long after the pimple was gone. With the serum the pimples and the redness go away extremely quick. I also have very sensitive skin and rosacea so products have to be mild for me to use. This serum is very mild and has never stung my face. I love it! Thank you Poppy Austin for a great product!

Hmmmmm. Been buying this for awhile. Got a coupla rancid bottles earlier this year (batch 40628.) How do I know they were rancid? Cause the first three bottles I got had NO smell, we're completely CLEAR, and did NOT sting when applied. Got a few more bottles that were CLOUDY, had a distinct ODOR, and STUNG my face when applied. Certain batch numbers were great and the other? NOT great. This most recent bottle? 01/03/16... Yeah, not so sure about this purchase. Just received my latest bottle, today. First of all, the product appears SLIGHTLY cloudy in the bottle. Not a good sign. So, I opened and smelled. It had a slight, very slight, but still apparent odor. *sigh* Here we go again. Other bottles have been hella cloudy and odor-rific while newer batches were CLEAR. Mind you, I've been through at least 10 orders of this... Also of note: They've also STOPPED putting lot numbers on the batches. Hmmmm. Why? So, I guess I'll go try it on my face. If it does NOT sting, I will keep it and use it quickly. However, if it stings, then back it goes for a refund. So sad. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product when it is FRESH and CLEAR (Batch numbers matter.) It is fantastic when it's not RANCID. Sorry Poppy Austin, a cloudy product means BACTERIA GROWTH. Eeeeeew. We'll see. Just wish I be assured that I'm getting fresh product, not a bottle that has had incredible temperature changes and has been sitting on an Amazon shelf somewhere for a year. If you can guarantee me that, Poppy Austin, then you've got a customer for life. Otherwise, EVERY ORDER IS A CRAP SHOOT. Dang it.
