I've become a bit of a tool snob over the past few years, and with hand tools especially usually like to buy the best version of a tool even if it costs considerably more. I'd like to with power tools too, if I could, but the price range of power tools escalates so quickly that its unrealistic. With hand tools though, you can often get a cheap version for about $10, or THE BEST version for about $25. Having THE BEST version of a pair of staple-puller pliers, for example, is one of life's little luxuries which I'm happy to spend an extra $15 for.I don't do enough dry-walling to have a deep familiarity with the best brands, and at the time I bought this I didn't have the time or mental energy to put into researching the industry, so I figured I'd role the dice and see what the crowd at Amazon suggests. I've never heard of Edward Tools, and have no idea what their brand reputation is. The $12 price tag didn't exactly inspire confidence that this was in the 'great tool' range. Honestly, if Channel lock or Milwaukee made of a version of this that cost $18 I would have gone for that and not thought twice about it. But they don't, and this got a lot of good reviews.One of the things I like about hand tools is, even if you don't know what a particular tool does, you can usually tell if its well made within a moment or two of picking it up and holding it in your hand. Teasing apart whether a tool is best overall, or second best...., takes hours of putting them to work, but the holding-it-in-your-hand-for-a-minute method is really efficient at telling you what broad quality range it belongs in.When this arrived, I was pleased to find that despite the low price tag and the brand I'd never heard of, this felt like a quality tool. It is sturdy and feels really well made. For the amount of dry walling I do, if I don't lose it it should be the only one I ever need to buy.I take it for granted that if a tool has no moving parts, even a cheap version will perform as its supposed to up to the point that it breaks or is otherwise deformed. As a result, this review focuses mostly on its sturdiness and apparent durability, which was my main concern as I shopped around amazon before settling on this one. For what it's worth though, after putting it to work this tool performed its job exactly as I'd hoped it would. Nothing more and nothing less. It was also easy to clean.At this point if you're still reading, you're overthinking it. Buy this one and get back to your project.

I don't have another corner tool to compare this one to, but for someone who has done basic drywalling I learned to use this tool pretty well. It takes practice but this tool is a lot better than fighting corners with putty knives. Starting with a healthy amount of mud helps a lot when it comes to smoothing out a corner with this tool.

This drywall corner tool really is perfect for the work I need to do in a couple of my corners in my condo. It flexes which is nice, and cleans up easy as long as you do that right away and dry it.It also works great for bed-head. I run it over my hair in the morning and get that perfect point I always like. Naah, not really....It is a great product. Thanks

Sturdy and works well

Basement remodel wanted it to all look great so I picked this tool up for my corners and it did a great job. Obviously can’t use in the corner of adjoining walls but for your long runs and verticals it’s great.

So this might sound silly. I went to your typical home improvement store to pick up drywall mudding supplies. I'm a short 5' even female. All of the tools were up high. Like I climbed racking to try to reach just like I would in grocery stores. No luck and didn't see any employee to help. I knew mudding wouldn't start for a few days yet. So I went to good ole amazon. Boom the tool was there. 4 dollars cheaper and was exactly what I needed. I go to use feeling unsure bc well I never used a corner tool. I always caulk corners. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Love it

it is good tool for 1st drywall cover coat in corners. Most of my experience has been in patching hundreds of idiot caused holes. I don't use paper tape. It is a waste of time. For Fibre tape it is well worth the money.

Pleasantly surprised by this tool, I did a level 5 skim coat in a 100 year old house and it was challenging trying to get the corners of the rooms cleanly done without this tool. This sped up my working time and gave the clean corners easily that I was fighting to achieve with just a standard blade. Definitely would recommend.
