Amazing light output in Camp mode or turbo search mode
A heavy light at 53 ounces or 3.3 pounds but easily handled with the included handle and sling. Does get warm at high outputs and automatically cuts output to prevent overheating and potential user burns but this is inherent with all current high output lights, LED or otherwise. At least Fenix does not claim the ridiculous and impossible outputs claimed by many far smaller, cheaper and lighter weight lights offered by many no name sellers currently. With the magnetic ring mode selection the user interface could not be easier and in Camp mode or Turbo Search mode the flood of light is amazing. This is my first high end light bought in 10 years or so and the advancement in actual lumens output compared to my old Fenix TK76 is amazing, but so is the heating up at high outputs. Unfortunately high output and heat generation are directly linked unavoidably with current available LED technology. It would be a lot worse with any other available current lighting technology I am aware of though. The listed lumens output is about the equivalent of 12 old fashioned 100 watt incandescent light bulbs. This does seem to be very solidly built and charges quickly when hooked up to a high power USB C power supply using a high power rated USB C cable. Per a review I found online it can charge at a 45 watt charging power with the right power supply and cable.

Way too expensive to not use it on high. Overheats. Not worth the money.
This is a very powerful flashlight. However, It overheats so fast and battery drains so quickly if on high. What’s the point in having it if you can’t use it? I feel like a fool paying all that money and it not being worth it really. I would not recommend anybody getting this.

An amazingly bright and versatile light that IS waterproof.
I've long been a Fenix light fan, as well as a few other brands. First let me address the waterproofing issue raised in another review. The area in question is a narrow gap around the plate securing the OLED info display and charging port. This plate is secured with six screws, under the plate there is a shaped rubber seal (like an O-ring, but obviously not round). True, the seal is not visible, so the little gap may look like a problem, but it is not a defect or a way for water to enter the light. It's just the way it's made and sealed water tight. The LR60R light has an intuitive, easy to learn, mechanical rotary switch. Play with the light for a minute or two and you'll have the operation down pat, in fact I think it's much easier to learn that way than reading the instructions (which I did too). This light is solid and versatile, and very bright. The O-led info display tells percent of charge both in use and when charging, as well as the mode, lumen output, and how much longer the light will operate, in hours and minutes, in the mode being used. No guessing what level or mode is selected - nicer and more exact than the blinking LED used on many other lights. If there's a downside, this light is on the heavy side at 53.3 ounces (3.3 pounds). However, they cleverly included a convenient removable handle. I think most will want to use the handle, that comes installed, even if you have really large hands. Either way, it requires the use of two hands to hold the light and manipulate the on/off/mode selector switch, which is easy to find without looking, then carry comfortably with one hand of course. I'm very pleased with mine.

Built in battery
More proprietary batteries from a company that should know better. You can't exchange batteries if these die.And that's it for me from the Fenix line. It was a good run.

The manufacturer doesn't want to repair the 60r, seriously affecting the waterproofing function!
I bought a brand new FENIX LR60R and found that the product has large gaps, which will seriously affect the waterproof function. The manufacturer has not asked for repairs yet!I advise everyone not to buy this 60R product!
