Tune your antenna system!
This little thing is great! After a short learning curve (watch a Youtube video) you can be tuning an antenna in no time. I have an OCFD that has been through several ice storms, stretched longer than it should be.The Nanovna allows you to see small changes in your SWR sweep, I can fold back as little as 4' on one end of a 135' dipole and see the change in SWR and band coverage. I was able to lower the SWR overall while tuning the low SWR to the part of the bands I use most, the Nanovna saved my antenna from the scrap pile. This is the best bang for your buck in your shack, feed your antenna not your coax!

Nice
This is a wonderful product for the price I paid and function it will doLittle bit of a learning curve nothing some YouTube videos didn't take care of I'd recommend this to anyone

Could not stop using this thing
This is an RF dude's dream box. Does almost everything you can imagine and for the price, you're not going to top this. The battery lasts for hours, it comes with a decent set of adapters and cables and it was trivial to add the ones I needed to connect to the equipment I wanted to test. Just get it. You won't be disappointed.

Being a new ham, I need to learn how to build an antenna.
There are so many video on the use of this device it seemed like a great fit. The pc based software is super easy to use as well as the touch screen. I got two sets of calibration parts, overall I think it represents a good value.

Compact and wide range of usefulness
I'm happy with the results I'm getting and for the price I have no real complaints. Using for ham and GMRS radio, but also has other measurement application for me (I'm and electrical engineer). The touch screen is the largest detractor from a 5-star review. Don't lose the stylus, it's not easily operable without it. (The screen is an out of date resistive type, and not a very good one at that.) Then again, it doesn't cost $300. The instruction sheet is woefully inadequate, basically a menu tree and nothing else. They should at least have a link to complete online instructions written in good English. You are doomed to watch a dozen hours of YouTube to learn how to use it. Storing and retrieving calibrations is not intuitive and will take more practice than I have done so far. If I get deeper into it, I'll have to write my own operator's manual for it to keep as a reference. The included adapters work for SMA connections, but you will need to order a bevy of other adapters for anything other than basic use.

Can not do better at this price point
Measured an HP 30 db attenuator used to calibrate power meters (very precise but only valid at 50MHZ)Attenuation was exactly 30 db.Had success with many other components. There is a test board for the nanoVNA (sold separately) with that test board, there is an inductor.for some low frequencies (R+ jX in Smith chart) I was getting negative values of R, yes -R.This is simply not possible R is ALWAYS positive. The firmware might need to be updated, because it appears that it's doing "pure math" computationswithout ANY regards to physical reality.Yes, I can do math on complex numbers and get a real part that is negative. But this is not just a mathproblem. The physical realities do NOT allow the resistance to be negative. For test frequencies below 875KHZ, R was negative. (Very small surface mount inductor )

Value for the price
This item works as it should. Case could be made out of more durable plastic, but you get what you pay for and I opted for the lower price Nanovna. Works great for what I need to do as far as my amateur radio antennas. I did get the nanovna test board and demo kit which was a much needed and helpful item to go with the nanovna. Compared to the higher end antenna analyzers, this one may not be as accurate, it will be close enough for me to save hundreds of dollars over one of the name brand analyzers.
