Are these made in America?

It says designed in Britain an made in China. But these work very well an come off easily with soap an water.

How do you get these off hardwood?

Thank you for your question. These should remove ok from hardwood, although some colors may stain. We suggest you do a wood patch test first.

do they work with stencils?

I don't see why not, but I think paint would work better for stencils. But I've not tried them with stencils myself personally.

How do I do finer detail work with the crayons ?

Thank you for your question. Our water-based crayons can be used with a fine brush. To achieve the ideal consistency, lightly moisten the brush and then apply the paint by gently stroking the crayon's tip. Be cautious not to use too much water, as it may result in thinner paint. We do not recommend dipping the crayon directly into water.
