Works perfect so far on Win 11 and Bazzite Linux
Works perfect on my ASUS ROG Ally X setup that dual boots Bazzite Linux and Windows 11.I have this connected to a JSAUX dock that I then connect my ASUS system to. I didn’t have to do anything extraordinary to get it to work on my custom dual boot setup so if you have a standard windows 11 setup or a SteamDeck system/OS you should be good. I didn’t even have to manually download or install software. It just worked when I went through settings and let each OS identify and pull down what they needed.I have this going to a Logitech 5.1 sound system and it works perfectly after multiple rounds of testing and gaming. On games like Batman Arkham City, Doom, and many others it’s really helpful to hear what’s coming from the side or sneaking up behind you. This is so easy to use and install you don’t need any crazy skills or experience. It was pretty much plug and play, and adjust a few settings for my system.

Plug and Play!
Reading about problems with operating systems and drivers as well as experiencing a problem with computer speakers. Even name brand. I was reverting to headphones while longing for my 5 channel base and decent room speakers.Reviews were good suggesting no downloading.Woo, woo. Arrived today. Small package which includes HDMI cable with HDMI c adapter. It was touch and go initially til I figured I'd not made secure connections. Per previous discussion. When connected , my good old sound system blasted out the moves on my chessboard.I have an Optiflex 7010 Dell.I' finally a happy camper!

It does work with OSX
Want to send 8 channels of audio out of your Mac, look no further. The unit doesn't come with drivers for OSX, however with some tinkering in the system setting midi output. it allows the user to send up to 8 different audio tracks out of Logic.

Went cheap and should have known better
Bought it December 28th and the front channels died today, February 20th.Again, should have spent more money, so really blame myself more than anything.

Impressive sound. Good support
Initially I had issues with setup. Customer service was very good and response was prompt. In the end I sorted out the issue myself. On a MacBook, you choose the Cubilux CA7 from sounds. After that you go to launchpad to look for the app Audio MIDI or you can find the Audio MIDI app in finder-applications-utilities.Open the Audio MIDI app and choose 6 channels if you have a 6 channel surround.I wish that Cubilux made a video or have instructions for setup. Now for the product review. For music, I was very surprised and very impressed. The DAC is really good. Using the 5.1 surround, the music had a better sound stage with clearer separation of instruments and vocals. Very detailed sound. My sound system is an old dell system but it still sounded so good, I cannot imagine how good it would sound with a proper hifi system.I have yet to try it out with a game but I expect good things.

Might be just what I needed for sharing speakers between multiple computers via a KVM switch...
I just purchased this so that I can have one set of surround sound speakers (5.1) support two computers through a KVM switch via the USB ports. Trying to find a switch selector for three 3.5mm jacks is virtually impossible. Switching to an external USB sound card seemed to be the best solution. This seems to be working correctly on a Windows 10 machine (presume it will also work on Windows 11). There are more than I prefer to see poor reviews (1 and 2) on this product that caused me concern. I still have my concerns, but this is basically working. My main concern is that I have a low hum on my sub-woofer that I did not have prior to changing to this setup. I have been able to remove some of it by reducing the volume on the sub-woofer but I believe I still hear it. I don't know if this has caused the need for a ground loop isolator on the center/sub-woofer 3.5mm (where the problem seems to be) or if I will be able to remove it by other means. I will give this review higher stars if I can confirm the low frequency hum can be eliminated.
