Great tool, reliable, wireless.
Great little tool. I use it with a Sony Ax700, Manfrotto Super High Camera Stand, Glide gear Motorized Pan Tilt Head With Wireless Remote.Never experienced a single issue. Been using it to film soccer (football) indoors and outdoors matches since 2021.Remote uses 2 AAA batteries, for hours. I replaced a remote with 20 ft wires. Huge upgrade! If I had one complaint is it doesn't have an on/off button to turn the camcorder off/on.But it's been a solid investment. Highly recommended. Will add photos soon.

Great on XF605
This unit works great on my Canon XF605. I wasn't expecting it to be half as good, honestly, but I am pleasantly surprised by everything about it, including the distance that I can be from the camera. I was hoping for 15-20 feet and got MUCH more from it. I'll be paying attention to this brand.

Works with all of my Sony cameras
I rarely leave reviews but this controller works with my Sony Z200, FX6 and FX9. I’ve only had it long enough to test it, but it’s an incredible value for the price!

Excellent control of the zoom with this device
I primarily bought this to use the zoom feature.I haven’t used the wireless connection. I prefer hard wired, to lessen the chance of a dropped signal. This unit is definitely better than most of the other LANC zoom controllers. The ability to change the zoom speed is great. I would struggle with other controllers zooms, because they would be likely to zoom faster than I wanted. Not the case with this zoom controller. It’s easy to do slower or faster zooms. I find that the #2 setting works best. The toggle is very smooth, too. This is a great controller. Highly recommended.

Works flawlessly with my Panasonic HC-X2000! LANC
Awesome controller! Range is decent and the fact that it gives you feedback whether is connected and if the camera is recording or not is just phenomenal. I've used Aodelan wired controllers before and they are reliable but this is next level! Highly recommended.

Nifty, but limited
The media could not be loaded. I have the widely used, well-known, well-liked Canon Vixia HF G50. Canon offers a whelming amount of features and customizable options in this camera. I'm still learning, and am far from being anything like a professional.Advertising for the AODELAN Wireless Camcorder Remote Control said that it was compatible with my G50, so I wanted to give it a try.Packaging is simple and minimal: a thin, compact cardboard box. It comes with a pair of cables, a sending unit, which plugs into and is powered by the camera, and the receiver, which is powered by a pair of AAA batteries. There is also a USB port on the top of the controller, but no rechargeable battery. All of the functions work via USB power, but mobility would be limited by the cable's distance from the power source. The instructions say to use the V-groove and clamp to attach the receiver to the tripod's pan handle. And there was my first problem. I use a SLIK tripod and the bare part of the pan handle is short. The best way I could attach the receiver was first to remove the SLIK knob that clamps the platform vertically, then completely unscrew the clamp knob and reverse the clamp. It works, and I used the longer cable to directly connect the camera to the remote control. But it's not very remote. There it was, about six inches from the camera. I found no particular advantage in having the receiver on the tripod wired directly to the camera. Taking it off the tripod offered more freedom to be a few feet away and still have control of the zoom function. Then I plugged the little sending unit into the camera's remote port. The short cable is to allow the little sending unit to reach the remote port in case there is some other equipment or some odd configuration in the way. Using the wireless remote is, in my opinion, the best way to get good use out of this item. However, there are a couple of limitations. First, I cannot find a way to take a still photo with the remote. The red button on the remote allows me to start and stop video recording, but I cannot find any way to change it to allow taking snapshots.Second, the instructions, while well-written and seemingly thorough, are a little confusing, mainly because they don't apply specifically to my camera. One solution might be to have an online database that offers PDF downloads for all of the different models that can use this controller. One problem that I have is that the instructions do not reveal what is the difference between 'IRIS' and 'FOCUS'. They allow to change the speed at which those adjustments can be made, but, as the instructions mention, "adjustments may vary depending on the camcorder used". I cannot notice any change, whether I am in Auto or Manual mode. So, finally, it appears that there are two uses of this device with my camera. I can start and stop a video, and I can zoom in or out and change the speed at which the zoom occurs. One more complaint: It would be nice if the clamping arrangement could be removed and/or reconfigured to be useful on a wider variety of pan handles.

Wow wireless remote
We change a wired control with this one and it is a smooth transition and the freedom to use the control from apart from your gear.

Works exactly as advertised
I use this both wired and wireless with a Canon Vixia G50 for videoing and livestreaming youth sports. Works perfectly. Long battery life…after using wireless for almost 3 hours at a recent tournament, battery was still almost fully charged. Highly recommended.
