The Scholarly Unicorn's SAT Math Advanced Guide with 1000 Problems and 48 Lessons Paperback – January 7, 2018

Dr. Warner has put together both a new SAT math textbook and corresponding problem sets. Of the 48 chapters, some are groups of 4 problems sets covering the topics seen on the new SAT, but most chapters cover an area of math seen on the SAT with accompanying problems. The lessons are clear and concise - really better than the textbooks in school, IMO. The explanations to the questions, like in his other books are excellent. He seems to anticipate concepts that can be difficult for some students, and then he explains them well. The second half of the book is groups of SAT math problems. Full explanations are available by download. Breaking the problems down by degree of difficulty (1-5) makes the book relevant to a wide audience. There are many math SAT prep books out there. If you are going to spend time preparing for the exam, then you might as well spend time using a book that will improve your math ability as well as your reasoning and problem solving skills. That way you get benefits from your effort beyond the SAT. I think this book will do that.

I recommend this book to all who need to improve their SAT math scores. It is so well done with excellently solved examples with large sections of unsolved problems. With my purchase, Dr. Steve provides a digital download of a total solutions manual, practice test and other goodies. It is well worth it and he is reachable via email. If your student just spends time going through the solutions section and studying the problems, you will see an increase in the math section score. Dr. Steve lays out a plan of study and if they will follow his play, he will deliver what he promises!

This is the only book you need to score an 800 on the SAT. When my son started studying, he found some things difficult. He reached out to Dr. Warner via email and quickly got a response. Dr. Warner has also been very helpful in general by offering advice and solutions to SAT math questions. This book helped my son understand basic concepts in detail. He started with a 550 in Math and now has a 770. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with SAT math.

Outstanding quality! Very convenient format broken up into bite-sized lessons to review each topic thoroughly. The concepts are very well explained with numerous review questions divided by level for each topic. Highly recommended!
