Okay this is a win dash cam! At first I had a bit of trouble connecting it to the app but I figured it out. If you have CarPlay enabled, disconnecting that will allow the WiFi connectivity. It has a nice clear view both front and back. If anything changes after a year I’ll write another review then.

Video is not the best but great for the value. App easy to use and installation easy.

These cameras capture clear picture during the day I haven't trie dto drive at night yet. the built-in WiFi lets me quickly view footage on my phone. I did not comes with a TF card but I have a 128G TF card from my old broker dash cam that works for this dash cam.

I have the slightly higher tier one but I also had the lower one before. All of them had great viewing angles. This one was for my brother and he loved it. The one thing about the newer DDPAI cams is they have switched to a supercapacitor so the battery doesn't dry out as fast and handles hot temperatures better than a battery. There is only one trade off with it. Even though its USB C, the cam will power down for a sec if you plug something else into the 12V adapter. Just a quick blink. Also it takes pictures so if you hit a bump too hard, it might think you have had an accident. I got it superfast and I will continue to support a company that makes great products. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT MEMORY CARD! Not every card will work.

The front camera works great. Beautiful picture. App works great. Intuitive Really good quality pictures with excellent clarity and surprisingly big view. I really like it. I have had the front one working for a couple of months and decided to install the rear camera. The plug is defective. I notified Ddpai with my order number and they “can’t find” my order here, so won’t send me a cable that works.As this seems like a pretty low bar for customer service, I will leave a low review and recommend against this company. If they can send me a cable that works (the plug was broken off), I’ll reassess my review.

The purpose of this purchase was to protect myself from insurance scams rising. My brother just had an insurance scam and since he has a tesla, they have built in cameras. My car has been listed as a insurance risk due to tiktok. However, Just having my car parked and it having the ability to video even if I am not in the car is awesome. I love it . Especially for people trying to steal our packages. it has front and rear cameras and does not impede my vision .

I've had DDPAI cams for ever since they came out- years ago! Love them. They are a little tricky to set up at 1st. if you are trying to set one up un your driveway and you have home wifi, they it will get very confusing, as wifi has to be turned on, and phone will connect to home wifi, when it has to be connected to camera. It's a lillt hassle to figure out, but once its set, then its done! I will never own a dash cam with a screen, as the screen is really a waste of time and space for 75% of the people. I do love that this dash cam can be easily removed. I wish I could get a second mount- then I could use this as a front cam for my 2nd car.
