I'm as non melanated as they come so I am not necessarily using this for protection for my hair, but I have some sensory issues that turns me into the hulk when my hair is tangled all around my neck when I sleep and have found bonnets to be the perfect way to alleviate that overstimulation. For similar sensory reasons I was specifically looking for something that didn't have a bow that needed to be tied (and cause a lump in my rotisserie chicken style of sleep) nor something that was just ruched at the edge. This set fits my head perfectly, nice and snug so they don't fall off. The silky fabric does seem thinner (like when held up to the light) than my first bonnet purchase, but for my needs that's not a deal breaker. The material seems nice and soft, but again I am not qualified to speak on whether this will protect hair that requires a little more gentle care.

I have not worn a night cap before and almost didn't try these because some of the reviews said the inside was not satin/silk. I am so happy I took a chance on these. The cap is not lined, so the inside is the same material as the outside and very light weight. I have quite long hair and toss and turn alot, but I had no problem with the cap staying on all night. The wide band is soft and comfortable. No more worrying about satin/silk pillow covers, especially when traveling! Great bargain too.Buy these, you won't be sorry.

Smaller than you'd expect.I am a Caucasian cis-female with curly hair that is currently to mid-neck, and it BARELY holds my hair.Once it grows out, I won't be able to use them.Durable elastic, but if your hair is should-length or longer, don't bother.

Nice roomy and the band is comfortable. Lightweight. Really like color choices for preference in colors and/or prints. Silky feel. Priced right, too. W buy again.

Out of the four bonnets in this package, one had a small tear (still wearable) and one was so small I couldn’t use it. The fit is good on the three that are the same size and are working out well.
