Cube Timer (Floral White)

Love love love this! It is really easy to use and it is so great! I use it at work as a productivity/pomodoro timer and it’s just perfect. It vibrates so I don’t distract my coworkers. It looks cool and sleek. And it is super super helpful!

Looks great and it is very easy to use. It comes with stickers to easily highlight frequently used settings that otherwise would be hard to find because it has so many faces. I use it to do 25 minute writing sprints.

This is a simple and effective tool for time management. Much easier to use than many more high-tech tools that I've tried. But they needed to paint the numbers black or white (on the yellow version). It's impossible to read the etched numbers, so I ended up coloring in the ones that I use the most w/ a black sharpie. For almost $20, I should not have to look at my can't quite color in the lines work on the timer. I recommend seeing if anyone sells one that has more visible numbers.

Recently I was introduced to the "tomato timer" theory, so I have been looking for a little timer. Then I was offered this one to try, so I grabbed it. I'm very impressed!It's about the size of a tangerine, although it has flat sides (technically called a dodecahedron). It's very simple to use. Give the button a long press to turn it on. Once it's turned on, you set the alarm mode to ring or vibrate by giving it an additional short press. Then, all you do is turn it with the selected number of pre-set minutes facing up and it starts automatically. The LED light will stay lit, letting you know that it's counting down. A few seconds before the time is up, the light will flash and then the alarm goes off. To silence it, all you do is push the button or set it with the button side up. And if you want to extend the time, just pick it up and rock it once and set it back down on however many more minutes you want.I rate Vine items on how well I would have liked them if they had been a regular purchase, and whether I would have kept or returned the item. In the case of this timer, I was expecting it to be great and it has not disappointed me. If this had been a purchase, I would be just as pleased, and would be leaving the same review. This also comes in a nice looking box with a nice 12" flat USB-C charging cable and would make a great gift. I have no reservations about awarding it 5-stars.

I have a cube timer, that I've been using for several years. It's a great timer, but is very limited because it only has four time settings. I ordered this new timer to have a little more flexibility.The first thing I noticed about this new timer, is that it is very small. It's still big enough to handle easily, and to find in a cluttered room; so I consider this a plus.My second observation, is that the numbers are not painted, and are very difficult to see from any distance beyond a foot or two. This is a definite minus.Third: There are eleven time setting to chose from. Major plus.At that point, I decided to try to use it. When you press the button (there's only one), it turns on, and either beeps or vibrates. This tells you which mode it's in. If you don't want that mode, tap the button to change it. It will either beep or vibrate. It will not do both. There is a blue light on one corner, that lets you know the timer is running; but, depending upon how it's placed, that light may not be visible. There is no display; and no other indication of how much time is remaining, until it gets down to the final 30 seconds -- at which point, the blue light begins blinking, and continues until the end, which is noted by the beep or vibration. Neither of which is very impressive.This is a handy little timer that is easy to use, and gets the job done; but it could be much better -- with just a few minor changes.My old cube timer does not vibrate, but the beeping alarm is significantly louder than this one. The cube has a light, hidden under each side, that flashes to indicate which time setting is active The light runs constantly while on, and flashes faster for the final 30 seconds. The cube also has a digital display, that constantly tells you how much time is left. It's not always upright; but it's always there. The cube runs on two AAA batteries. They last a very long time; but they're still disposable batteries.I like the available time setting options, and the USB-C recharging; but I really wish the new timer had the same lights, display, painted numbers, and loud alarm as my old cube timer.
