Can leave attached to taps permanently!
Much better than any of the previous shower tap connectors we've been through over the last 25yrs. Including one from this manufacturer we previously had that started leaking because the shower head couldn't handle the water pressure. But they've totally redeemed themselves with this offering. Not only does it look better aesthetically than all the other bath tap shower adapters we've had, but it's best feature is it can stay attached to the bath taps permanently. Want to run a bath, no problem, just turn the taps on and the water will flow straight into the bath, want a shower once the waters hot enough, no problem, flick the switch on the front of it, and it redirects the water from tap to shower. When you turn the taps off if in shower mode, the switch automatically resets the water flow back to tap mode. So no more nasty cold water shower surprises when you turn the tap on next.Wish I'd have purchased this one a few years ago, as while it was considerably more expensive than any of the others we've owned. In this instance, it really was worth paying the extra.

100% happy
Great product, I am 100% happyI am disabled, with a damaged lower spine and arthritis so not able to pull out the bath to add mixer taps and fit a proper shower, I would have had to remove and refit the toilet and a lot of plumbing which is preventing removal of the bath also...Lots of cash and lots of work...For me, This product is a complete blessing under the circumstances, just £30... and not a lot of work to install (even in my condition)I bought some silicon sealant, expecting to have trouble making it water tight, because I have fairly square shaped taps, and one reviewer posted a pic of the same type and stated that it did not fit them...Mine sealed without the use of any added sealant or tape etc, and can withstand reasonable and sufficient pressure, so don't be put off by some of the negative comments...Method used (and recommended) = apply the mixer to taps - tighten up clips fully - add the shower nozzle - run the hot tap on low pressure to heat up the rubber seals (spraying the hot water onto the cold side seal with the shower head)... once both seals are heated up and softened, tighten the jubilee clips again as tight as you can...fix the rail to wall with 2x screws + wall plugs.Leave the 2x covers off of the mixer for a few days, and then tighten some more (if you can, or if needed) after settling. Then add the seal covers...All done! You will need a drill and masonry bit for fixing the shower rail, 1 x very small Philips screwdriver and 1 x large (good fit essential) for the mixer.... and a pencil to mark the drill holes ;D(sturdy ratchet/screwdriver set with a 7mm socket recommended)2x screws and wall plugs are provided, but I used a larger size to be sureextra tip = make sure the jubilee clip lugs are facing upwards on both sides, this will make tightening them easier ;D

Water spurting out
I've had a simple rubber attachment from Croydex a couple of times and they've worked perfectly fine. Because I'd been happy with those, I decided to get a better looking version, but I've had to revert to the rubber one. If I turn the taps up sufficiently for the shower to work properly, I can't get water to stop spurting out around the taps, but if I turn the taps down to reduce the pressure, the shower dribbles out. Plus, the mechanism to redirect water into the bath is too stiff to work. I should have returned it but it's out of time now.

Croydex Bar Mixer Shower Set
I recently installed the Croydex Bar Mixer Shower Set with a 1500mm flexi-tube hose, and overall, I am quite pleased with its performance. Here's my detailed review:Design and Build QualityThe chrome-plated finish of the shower set gives it a sleek and modern look that fits well in any bathroom. The materials used feel robust and durable, ensuring longevity. The riser rail is sturdy, and the shower head, although basic with its one function, delivers a consistent and satisfying water flow.Ease of InstallationOne of the standout features of this shower set is its ease of installation. The instructions were clear and straightforward, making the setup process quick and hassle-free. ***It's designed to be compatible with round taps, which added to the convenience.***PerformanceThe shower performs admirably, providing a steady and comfortable water pressure. The 1500mm flexi-tube hose is a good length, allowing for ample movement and flexibility. While the one-function shower head is somewhat limiting, it serves its purpose well for a standard shower experience.Value for MoneyConsidering the quality, ease of installation, and performance, this shower set offers good value for money. It's a practical and efficient choice for those looking to upgrade their bathroom without breaking the bank.Overall SatisfactionOverall, the Croydex Bar Mixer Shower Set is a solid choice for anyone seeking a reliable and easy-to-install shower solution. Its simplicity and functionality make it a great addition to any bathroom, though those looking for more advanced features might find the single-function shower head somewhat limiting. Nonetheless, it delivers well on its promises and has left me a satisfied customer.******Please Be mindful if your having a shower, that no one turns a tap on in a different room or flush a toilet because you could get burned with hot water******Highly recommended for its straightforward installation and solid performance.

I'm so made up with this literally 15mins to put on my taps some say the lever to swap from bath to shower does not stay down it won't unless you have the water going through it the water pressure keeps it down to shower
