Never had a problem
I have not used this spool yet and am basically stocking up pre-tariffs, but since I have never had a problem with any PETG filament, I generally look for the best value at the time of purchase. It is always nice when one of the major brands like Creality on sale. I have gone thru a dozen spools of Creality PETG filament without a hitch.

A reasonably priced alternative
I tried this new brand of filament mainly due to the price. I put it in a filament dryer for about an hour and a half beforehand. I had no issues with clogging or adhesion problems on my first print. I did have some warping on a second print of the same models, but that may have been due to the fact those parts were near the edge of the plate. I will say that this particular filament is extremely shiny, much more so than the other brand of black PETG I had used previously. And I mean SHINY... like Darth Vader helmet shiny.

Nice filament at a great price. Vacuum sealing could be better
I haven't seen PETG this cheap since before the pandemic. These are definitely quality filament. Accurate dimension. The vacuum bag could be better because mine wasn't really vacuum sealed. As soon as I pulled it out of the box the bag was loose. There was definitely a hole in the bag somewhere. Anyway, nothing a filament dryer can't fix. It prints very smoothly. No stringing, extremely smooth top surface (I don't iron my top layer), and nice glossy walls. Well worth every penny.

prints good but a little stringy if its not dry

Need to use higher nozzle and bed temps and slow down initial layer speeds.
So far so good with this filament. I'm new to 3D printing and own a Bambu P1S. This is my first attempt at printing PETG. I wanted to print a few items for outdoor use in the garden this spring and needed a filament that can better handle higher temperatures and UV exposure. For my first print, I ran a simple retraction test print having a base and two small upright cylinders and used the "Generic PETG" settings with no modifications. This print came out looking good with no blobs or stringing but, had very poor layer adhesion. It basically crumbled with a little bit of pressure.I increased the initial layer temperature from 250C to 265C and the other layers temperature from 250 to 255. I also slowed down the initial layer and infill speeds to 30mm/s. Bed temp was 70C. This produced a much better print that could be bent and twisted with no breakage.I did add a better nozzle cleaner and HEPA filter to my printer before attempting PETG printing since it can ooze a little more than PLA and gum up the nozzle.. These can be found on the Printables site as "BambuLab HEPA Filter" and "The Scrubbler".I've only run a few tests at this point but, from what I can see, I would definitely buy this filament again.

Technically usable. Technically
Temperature Range That (Barely) Worked: 210–215°CFilament Quality: AbysmalTangle Resistance: AdequateColor: BlackThis filament is the single worst I've ever used. Despite throwing everything at it: temperature towers, retraction tests, PA tuning, filament drying, praying to whatever god would listen (none did), the result was always the same: stringing, blobbing, fusing, and a wish for the spool to spontaneously combust like my hopes and dreams for the filament that was attached to it.It prints like it was daring me to give up. And eventually, I did. I stopped trying to coax quality from it and settled for "technically usable." Anything with moving parts would weld itself into a single useless lump, a sad brick that might work for self-defense and not much else. Only basic static prints like Gridfinity bins or draft parts came out remotely acceptable, and even then they looked like they’d been sneezed into existence.Even at just $11 on sale, this filament wasn’t worth it. more of a punishment than a bargain, a beautifully tragic reminder of what buying cheap can get you.
