Good product, better customer service
I bought this 9 months ago and had been working well. It's easy to mount and adjust. Video from the front camera is super clear. But the rear camera is mounted inside and the glare/reflection from the rear glass makes it less than ideal but still usable. However, it died one morning and refused to boot up. I tried everything including using a different power source, removing the SD card, pushing the reset pin hole in the back . . . nothing. So I contacted customer service and they responded within a few hours. They wanted me to send a video showing the power source works on other devices, like and iPad, and then the dash cam. After seeing that it was dead, they sent another full set with all the accessories. Once confirmed that the replacement is working properly, they kindly asked to return the dead P10 but keep all the other accessories as a backup spare. They provided the return label so it was no cost to me. It's a bit of a bummer that the P10 died in less than a year but the great customer service makes up for it. Hopefully the replacement P10 lasts a long time.

4 and a half Stars
I was really excited to get this product. I have been looking at all sorts of camera mirrors, and this one won me over with its great price point, double dash cams, and slew of great high tech features. Starting at the mirror itself, I love it a lot. I was a bit peeved that the front dash cam extends out from the unit, I thought that would be a distracting, but it’s not an issue at all. The build quality seems really good, the product has good weight, and I haven’t noticed any smudges or anything on the screen. Even when it’s off, it still can kind of function as a mirror, with its reflective screen. Installation was a breeze, HOWEVER, I own a coupe and I ran the wires as efficiently as I could, but the video cable from the camera was still well short of the mirror, which was quite annoying. I contacted Pelsee support about getting a hardwire kit (since the plug I intended to use wasnt 12V) as well as now a video cord extender. They were responsive and helpful, but could only send me one of those (which is fair enough), so I chose the hardwire kit, which came soon after, with provided tracking from customer service. Big shoutout to them, they really saved this product for me, I was really dreading returning this, since I was so excited for it. Moving on to camera quality, it’s been really great. I’ve tested the unit in night, day, rain, and shine, and it’s held up quite well. For day driving regardless of weather, picture is clear as can be, I am really happy with the quality of the picture. I have yet to test on a rainy night, but night driving is also good quality. I saw a lot of complaints about only being able to see headlights in the picture, but that will happen regardless of camera quality. If someone is tailgating you, all you can see is their headlights beaming at you, that’s just how it is. Speaking of night driving, I really liked the brightness adjustable feature, we drove late into the night and I was able to gradually turn the brightness down with a flick of my finger. Really great feature. You are also able to adjust the cameras view (up and down) so if you are struggling with a parking job you can move the camera down to see the bumper of the car behind you. The safe driving assist features are really oil, but I did not get to test them, besides the G-Force setting, which you can set a threshold of impact to save the recording. I had mine set to Low, meaning low sensitivity to impact, but it registered every little pothole I went over, which got annoying, so I turned that feature off. As for the other “safe driving” features, I didn’t get to test any of them, calibrating them looked really easy, and the tech looks really cool, but I don’t drive enough to get good use out of the blind spot features, etc. One small gripe I have is the mirror stays on after you turn the car off (my cars cigarette lighter always stays on, apparently), which furthered my need for a hardwire kit. However, when you power the mirror off getting out of the car, the mirror auto powers on if you have been gone long enough. Kind of confusing, but if you turn the mirror off when getting home from work, it will power on in the morning. However, if you turn it off at the grocery store, and come back, the unit will not power itself on. All in all, I highly recommend this product. The features and quality you get for this price is unbeatable, and customer service is great to help out any kinks you have in the process of installation or setup. Highly recommend for anyone trying to up the technology in their car, or those who want a great backup camera.

Product exceeded my expectations
My new (new to me) 2006 Subaru Outback is a longer vehicle than I’m used to, so I knew I would back into something sooner or later if I didn’t add a camera. No dash cam in a car that old, so I found the rearview mirror screen a great option.I put the system in myself, and it took about 4 or 5 hours. I probably could have done it faster, but I wanted to make sure it was done correctly. This is not a project for the average driver! I have an engineering degree and I like doing stuff like this, and even with all that going for me I found it had some challenges (such as routing the wires around side airbags). I can’t imagine a professional car place doing it faster or better. I wrap the wires in plastic tubing when it has to make a turn around (or near) metal. Even routing the wires with all this attention and care, I found I still had to make some sacrifices with the wires exposed here and there. Not a big deal to most people, but I like to have it cleanly installed with practically zero wires showing.Splicing into the reverse light provided some challenges too, but that was mainly due to the factory wire harness having zero slack to work with! They don’t plan for aftermarket stuff, so why would they make the wires any longer than they have to be?I don’t use the GPS option because I don’t feel like I need it, and I don’t want to deal with the wires or sticking the sensor on the windshield.I connected it to a power source that cuts on and off with the key, so I don’t use the parking monitor option. I just wanted to record driving. So the system starts up when I turn on the engine, and cuts off when I turn off the engine. I tapped into the fuse box (search for “automotive fuse tap”) with a fused plug-in connector. These things are great because when you hook them up correctly they give you power, fused for protection, and eliminate the need to cut and splice any wires. You do have to find a good ground connection, of course. When it’s all connected, it will remember your last view. I leave mine looking at the rear view. Sometimes I turn the screen dark (either manually pushing the button, or saying “turn off screen”) and just use it as a regular mirror. The video still records even when the screen is dark. My back window is tinted, so it doesn’t give the best view that way (either reflecting, or with the camera mounted on the inside). When I look at the reflection with the back hatch open, the view is pretty bright and looks close to a regular mirror in the daytime. When you put it in reverse, the back view changes. It switches to a downward angle, and has the red/yellow/green guide lines. Then when you change out of reverse, it goes back to your previous view. This is nice feature. I had assumed I’d have to choose between a straight view out the back, or a downward view for safety backing up, but was glad I get both.I played with the lane features and blind spot detection on an out of town trip, but I do not use them in town. I just keep them turned off so they remain silent.I’ve checked the recordings a couple of times, and all seems to be ok. It’s a little awkward to get the card out and take it inside to plug it into my desktop computer, so I don’t do it often. The audio isn’t the greatest, but it’s ok. I’m not sure if it’s just the one I got, or if they all have a little sound distortion. The sound works, but it’s just not as clear as other recorders I’ve used.Overall, I really like this system, and would definitely buy it again.
